D-Nox and André Moret return with part two of their Sessions series.  Sessions represents the next phase for the multinational pairing.

Whether remixing each other or appearing on the same labels, D-Nox and André’s musical blueprint is finely tuned, as they continue to grow together artistically.

  First up, the ‘80s-inspired ‘Shine’ applies its machine funk and glittery melodies. Tough drums and an offbeat bass provide a solid foundation for the main motif to explore the limits of uplifting analogue glory. Next, ‘Velvet’ gathers pace for a masterclass of progressive house. Sparse drums and a thunderous bass bedrock the melodies and sweeps of this mid-set bruiser. Finally, ‘Spiritual’ rounds out this impressive three-tracker with a deep progressive ride full of musicality and soul.

The sandy dunes lined the sides of the great river. Green reeds could be seen blowing in the breeze above the swirling mists of the water below. Fighting the current they clung to the bed of the Nile, gripping for life so that they might not be swept away by the raging waves. The great heights of the pyramids looked down on the scene below as a voice cried out loudly in the blackened air. The Egyptian night grew still, a voice across the nile was all to be heard.

Disco Halal continue their profound run of form and ever growing release schedule as they offer up three reworks of TCP. Moscoman steps up to take on an exciting approach in 'A Voice Across The Nile'.

So. Here is the new love project Acid Hamam - It all started out as a live-performance where i mixed scandinavian and oriental folk music with slow, deep tech grooves that i ran through some patches in my modular system to spice things up. The live performance and response from the crowd was amzing! I´ll never forget that night!
The idea behind this EP ”Soul Sirocco” is basically about me growing up and excisting in this country. In this times. People always ask me where i come from. Sweden is never a good enough answer - because my hair is black. My eyes are brown. It happens wherever i go. Every country i travel to. With almost every new people i meet. My whole life. people are trying to figure me out on the basis of racial prenotion.
My lack of this kind of identity has led me to feel as part of everything. Since i can´t relate to a single national identity, i will relate to every one! And i will make music and i will try to make that music tell a story.
So when i blend old Scandinavian folk music with arabic shanting, and i see people dancing away in the haze of the dancefloor, is just magic. In these moments everything becomes ONE. Just as it´s supposed to be.
This unity is what Acid Hamam is about! This is the most honest record i ever made. Stay put for some upcoming live performances during 2016.

Chloé has resolved to make 2017 the year that Lumière Noire becomes a fully-fledged record label, and this fifth release is the first to come out on the new entity.This new EP is brought to you by spanish musician and vocalist Sutja Gutierrez. His eclectic and hyperactive personal style brings together experimental lo-fi pop with electronic and psychedelic elements.

A WAGE OR A CAGE
Effort, work and sweat without any rewards – sounds familiar? Is this the new normal? This track expresses the paradox, drifting along the cadence of human voices, sustained even after the music ends.

Fresh from providing Futureboogie’s pivotal 50th release back in March, Christophe leads the charge on the label’s annual Summer Riot compilation EP, now on its sixth installment.  On “West Side Critters”, a bold and brooding kick drum that the early acid pioneers would be proud of, tethers a malleable acid bassline to its stable pattern, whilst incessant cow bells, distant tom hits and metallic piano chords pep up the production for another class track from Christophe. The Mexican duo, Zombies In Miami, have impressed for labels like Love On The Rocks and Correspondent over the years, and bring their own brand of spiritual dance to the Summer Riot party.  A collage of colour erupts on “The Legends Of The Hidden Temple” premiered here, with sitars, guitars, vocals and synths all weaving their magic over a chugging house beat with a bubbling acid underbelly. Formerly one half of previous FBR recording artists, Lizards, Lee Forster teams up with Ollie Warriner (Tunnyl Records) for a their new Forriner project, contributing the excellent “Spero” to the comp. Warming pads glide over lazy percussive beats, as a piano motif holds the breakdown before kickstarting the track to its glorious groovy finale. Bringing the Summer Riot VI to a cosmically charged ending, Yuki Tosaya channels the spirits of 1990’s ambient house in a superb track titled “Acid Dawn Breaks”.  Chugging, transcendental house at its finest, Tosaya teases 303s, piano riffs and cascading synths in a production that will no doubt see the break of dawn at many gatherings for a good while to come.

PREMIERE : Zombies In Miami - The Legends Of The Temple

@MireiaRec celebrate their tenth release “ZEHN” with a split EP by Amsterdam’s @Pin-Up-Club and Berlin's Conga Fever. The two originals are accompanied by remixes by Lauer, Jacob Korn and RSS Disco.

Pin Up Club’s “Dilapidated” is a true synth-workout with hard-hitting claps.

@RSS Disco channel the track into a psychedelic journey with a distinctive Italo feeling.  A frayed lead melody interwoven with moist Oberheim chords and backed up by old-schoolish drums and a classic arpeggiated Juno Bassline ignite neon lights and incense at the same time.

Being seasoned DJs that know how to read a crowd, RSS Disco seem to feel at home in a broad variety of terrains: Be it their remix of indie/lofi sleeper hit “In Dreams” by Tomemitsu or vintage indian upbeat psychfunk with Rupa’s “Aaj Shanibar”. Their remix of “Dilapidated” is no exception in a string of quality music.

“ZEHN” is a diverse and worthwhile entry into Mireia Record’s catalogue, feeling right at home with their back catalogue of always interesting serious/not so serious dance music with a melancholic twist.

Supercontinent is the new project of the 4 super producers Juan Soto, Bufi, Dan Solo and Thomass Jackson, created in 2018 with the intention of being a live electronic music band. Influenced by disco, psychedelia, techno and even rock, Supercontinent is made for the dancefloor and home listening.

The satirical and funny lyrics show the imagination of the members, nourished by a grey and absurd humour.

Since their inception, the band had performed in several cities in Mexico as well at the Trópico Festival.

After two singles released (‘Nada’ and ‘Seductoria’), this new EP brings us 3 eclectic dance tracks inspired by common and random situations -approaching the accidental- and their deep meanings.
