This edit (originally created in 2008 for my dj sets) was supposed to be included on the recently released third Autonomous Africa 12". Unfortunately I didn't get permission to use it in time for that release but permission has now been given, so rather than wait for AA 004 in 2015 it is going to come out as a limited edition hand stamped 10" as soon as possible. All proceeds will once again go to the Mtandika mission in Tanzania - http://www.actioninafrica.org/about-mtandika.php

This week, the Multi Culti label dropped their new comp, Sun Gaze II, a four-track ensemble of colourful, global club tracks. Our favourite here at Complex HQ, Moscoman's fuzzy foot-stomper "Se Acabo", sees the Berlin-via-Tel-Aviv producer concoct a rich melting pot of influences that seem to hint at just about every corner of the world. With its tropical percussion, cumbia-esque cadence and marching bass line, you could deploy this cut in any club in the world and expect a rapturous response from the crowd.

Sun Gaze II is the latest part of the six-part Sun Gaze & Moon Faze compilation. Sun Gaze II is released on Apr. 25, while the full compilation will be released on Jun. 21 as a limited edition box set.

Back in the day, when the warehouse was full, and the kids had fun, they would dance all night long. Nobody came to fight, to cause trouble, to hate, or cause beef. The crowds simply came to move their feet back in 92'. Not like now that is, where the dance was tense, heated and fearful. Girls cried as boys fought in the corner of the yard outside, and the music had lost its feeling. Lets bring it back now, back to those good old days: in 92' things were better. 

The Cyclist attempts to recreate an element of that old school feeling on a new EP for Hypercolour. "Born in 92'" is a much welcome trip back down memory lane.
