The first release of @escapeartistaus’s new imprint is a various artists affair brought together by the power of friendship. After years of being sent amazing music by new and old friends from near and afar, the time has come to share this joy with the rest of the world. As a label, it will seek to shine a light on psychedelic music of all designs and the first release will focus on the dance variety. It is the label’s hope that the love and friendship that brought this project together will shine through in the music.

Side A opens with @crisypeee’s ‘Lemon’, a mid-tempo breakbeat roller that epitomises the ideal qualities of a track found in an opening set. Playful acid notes and indecipherable spoken work glisten against a backdrop of thumping kicks and warm sub bass.

Imre Kiss’ light-conceived alias 'The Donna Smith Experience' kicks off the sonic tale with the awe-inspiring 'Stay (Let's Float In Space)'. We will greet many dawns with this beauty, that's for sure. We welcome Escape Artist to our label with his spacey-cosmic break called 'A Deep Breath', traveling with it to a forest of an alien planet light years from here. And if we are talking about the sci-fi themes: would you like a retrofuturist beat for your personal transformation? Route 8 is got you delivering 'Be Aware' to your ears, an hommage to DMX Krew & breakdance floors. 
'Closed For Subsidence' with its damaged melody and throbbing bassline evokes the loneliness and darkness we’ve all experienced at some time over the past year, but we feel that Jeigo dripped a little hope for us into the song as well. Wintertime in Vermont, sun is shining on icicles, silence reigns over the forests, these images come to our mind listening to Aspetuck's 'Winterruhe', a slowburner for all the wilderpeople out there. And finally we can say we have another Hungarian producer in the TIOT family. We are proud to present NetSymmetry to you, who is showing himself for the first time under this alias with an eight-minute hallucinatory vision called 'Gene Oscillations' which immediately melted, bubbled, boiled and filtered us into a petri dish. Now let's find a dance partner and hope we can meet this year!

Anonymous producer Alphonse returns to Klasse Wrecks for his third release on the label and brings with him a concoction of familiar sounds and flavours. If anything is certain about Alphonse by now it is that nothing is certain and everything is to be expected. The 'Beechwood DNA' EP sounds like a grip of the producer's influences and inspirations funneled through his sample heavy approach to production, taking wild turns unannounced. Acid licks and unruly breakbeats are definitely nothing new but the producers considered summation of each track is truly original and surprising. The EP rounds off with the title track 'Beechwood', a painfully beautiful ode that captures a nostalgic mood and shows off the producers well-informed ear for a catchy sample.

After a 2 year hiatus, Silver Dollar Club returns to round out a trilogy of EPs with a sparkling slab of weirdo tearjerkers and club-ready cuts from Bristol's own Remotif. 

With a healthy lineup of releases on Coymix, Air Miles, and his own  label Familiar Strangers, it's been a busy year for Joe Reddick and for good reason: Prolific and versatile, he combines a classic club sensibility with an exploratory approach to space and texture that results in a sound all his own.

Slap Bass, wet arps, emotional breaks & driving percussion all come together to make a record that we're very proud to be able to put our name on.

This will be the last in a series of three records from Silver Dollar Club; so play it in your sets, play it in the car, play it in the bath, whatever you do, just play it!

The computer screen stared back at her; as blank as it was when she started a few days ago. Inspiration just wasn't coming at the moment, her head was empty of thoughts, she couldn't even muster up a sentence. Each morning, in her sleep deprived state, she'd give herself a mental pep talk - today was going to be the day it would flow... But they didn't seem to work and now she'd got herself in too deep; it had become a task in itself to unglue her eyes from the screen. She had to prize herself away, at least just for a moment, perhaps then the answers she was searching for would finally become clear.

For Those That Knoe's mission has been the same for its near decade-long operation. Dedicated to shining a light on obscure and under-the-radar artists of recent past, the Boe Recordings sub-label has helped to revive music that hasn't gotten its due recognition first time round. For their next release, rather than looking to the past, they hone in on a contemporary artist who has been bubbling below the surface in his home of Slovenia.

Vid Papez, AKA Vid Vai, joins the label for his debut LP Laminar Flow: a collection of tracks that tip the hat to early 90s IDM, UK bleep and breakbeat. His classically trained background - he plays violin, lute and guitar - comes through in each track's composition. They're precise, intricate and flow like water.

This revolutionary chapter in vinyl history features the production skills of Maara, Priori, Rudolf C & HearThug, with digital exclusives from Adam Curtain, Anastasia Zems, B.AI & Kepplr.

For Needs 010 we welcome yet another all-star lineup of producers from around the world across vinyl and digital formats. Featuring trancey techno from Montreal’s rising star Maara; chuggy, percussive, mysticism from Priori; sultry minimal grooves from Berlin based Rudolf C, and a constantly evolving spacey acid banger from Tunisia’s leading light HearThug. For the fourth installment of the ELEGAL RECORDS sub-label, Klasse Wrecks is happy to present 4 different versions of a track that originally came out in 1993. Produced by the South London duo Aura (Gary Folgate and Dave Tutt), the track featured on an EP of the same name and was originally released by Infectious Records. Now specially remastered and remixed for 2022, the record comes with new versions from original group member Electron Forest (Dave Sage) and label regulars Luca Lozano and DJ Steve.

The original tracks parts are picked apart in the new remixes, most making weighty use of the signature pipe drum melody (which was originally made by hitting lengths of plastic pipe with table tennis bats). Electron Forest turns in a wonderfully produced version, this is modern Trance with stylish elements perfectly executed. Luca Lozano provides what is now expected from the producer, a stomping breakbeat-led groover that introduces new vocals to peak the interested while DJ Steve turns in an ever impressive and original sounding Bleep-Techno interpretation, replaying the original parts with new synthesizers providing the tunes.

Following up his debut release on SOEX (@southernexposurerecords), Whitvoir welcomes local Warrandyte producer @jjonjjones to the label launch with ‘Airflow.’ 

A four track expedition through the environments that we call home in Australia, native birds and wildlife simulate a listening experience similar to that of a day spent in God’s country. Organic, ‘Outback Trance’ produced to suit all listening environments around the globe.

Mystic jungle is a percussive journey that transports you straight to the bush, suiting barefoot groovers warming up for the day. Dubbed out 80s synths paired with organic percussions bring a tribal feel grabbing attention with spaced out native bird calls. Mystic Jungle’s solid groove and big chuggy bass lines are guaranteed to have you in an ‘Australiana’ dream trance like state.

Transupial brings an airy tribal groove, choppy and boppy with a wubby 303 that keeps the track moving along. Pitched kalimbas bring a quirky flavour which gets deep and dystopian as the track progresses. ‘Totally Wild.’

The title track ‘Airflow’ is a captivating atmospheric journey through space, delicate deep and dubby suited for dancefloors around the globe. Rolling breaks, natural percussion paired with a chuggy 303 bass line and pan flute from an 80s Roland Synth capture a new flavour of
Australian dance music.

Phantom spirit picks up the pace encouraging the ones and twos, washy hats, rolling kicks and 80s toms sprinkled throughout bring character to Jone’s production. Trancey synth lines with airy vocals bring the spirit of the phantom to life, paired with a wavy 303 line keeping the track ever evolving. One to keep your ear out for at festivals around the world over the coming
seasons.
