 London based producer and hard-hitting Bristol sub maestro, Indent, has been producing for 7 years and DJ'ing for even longer, rolling onto the commercial release scene with Holding Hands Records earlier in the year. Indent received deserved recognition when Desert Sound Colony picked him for a two-track digital release; Brad submitted his track 'Falling' to a live remix session on YouTube, and whilst originally not intending to release commercially, the concept ended up being too strong not to.'

The opportunities were endless, a plethora of sprawling pathways were laid out before them and as they stood perched atop the hillside they questioned and queried which one they might take. Only one path would lead them all the way back down to the foot of the mountain, up amidst the clouds they were happy and peaceful looking down at the world below and all its wonder. It was time for them to take a second and make their choice. Who knew that to choose one might be so hard... 

Yosh is set to release a new EP on Distant Horizon, a fun filled garage and rave inspired affair destined to roar on big systems and blast in the speakers of small cars. This one is an ode to everything we love.

Kanyalang! hits up Truth Radio for the fourth time with the EP ”Mount FM” with four breakbeat inspired tracks.

The EP runs through a range of styles and influences, jumping from early-90’s rave culture, drum n bass and eerie sci-fi beats, all whilst yearning to rave during these lockdown times.

Acid, pulsating rhythms, and heavy synths all feature throughout the EP mashing together big nights out and bedroom raves.

PREMIERE: Broken Audio - Heavy Saturation

The sun had barely risen as he clocked in at the front door of his office. Without fail, he was always the first one in and the last one out; in his mind there was something to prove. How could he possibly make it to the top of the food chain if he didn't put the hours in? But it wasn't just the time, he had to throw others under the bus to climb the ladder. He'd do whatever it took.

During the pandemic, DJ and Emergency Room boss Zaltsman had plenty of time on his hands to make new music. Refining what he terms as a 'bouncy UK style', his output touches on elements of house, UK funky and stripped back techno and has seen him contribute tracks and remixes on Dansu Discs and Distrokid. He self-releases his next cut, 'Nao Paro', which he cites as a homage to the funk scene in Brazil, sampling the lyrics of Diadema-based rapper MC Petter.

The second of a triplet on Fine Grains for the Surrey-based producer, Herman. Four ruminating low-end constructions with the heads down crew always in mind. With clubs starting to re-open, the 'Narcissus EP' lands at the perfect moment. 'Sol' takes on a heady mix of tribal drums, haunting distorted vocal snippets and teasing breakbeats. 

And this is the essence of the 'Narcissus EP', as we go further down the rabbit hole into Herman's world of deep myoclonus percussion.
Herman's tale is furthered with remixes by two exciting emergent production talents - Holloway from the UK and Zohar in the Netherlands. The emphasis remains on drums, slipping into some classic d'n'b flavour with Holloway and a powerful modern breakbeat re-shake from Zohar (her first ever remix). 

'Narcissus' is a call to arms for a return to those dark and sweaty nights we once shared with strangers on dance floors and dingy basements across the globe. Let's get back to it.
