London via Devon producer Sangre Voss doesn't play by the rules. Over the years he has released music which challenges and tests the most ardent of experimental DJ's with playful percussion, off piste tempos and weird, wonderful sounds which sounds as bonkers as they do beautiful. Releases and features on the likes of Rhythm Section, Fabric Records and Third Place have demonstrated a progression in sound yet emphasise the importance of staying true to the essence of fun.

His latest record was released on the 1st of March via Will Hofbauer's Third Place label and emphasises the versatility of a producer hard to pigeonhole.

With that in mind we had no idea what to necessarily expect from this mix, it could be anything to anyone or anywhere depending on the given mood of Sangre Voss.

Sangre Voss: The 'Wednesday Alternative' Mix

Sen Riot (they/them/her/it) is a Drag Artist and DJ who has been Ha Noi & Saigon’s underground nightlife mainstay (and also mainslayyy). After 10 years of performing and birthing so many drag children, the co-founder of Gender Funk grew wary of putting on wigs so she decided to put on a HEADPHONE instead.

Partygoers have often referred to Sen’s DJ set as “Dark”, “Spicy”, “Huh?”, or “Something people listen to when high”. Sen's musical style refuses to be shackled to just one genre. But if you're really twisting their arm for a label, it would probably sound like: “Techno, but less aggressive, but kinda trippy like trance, and sounds like a washing machine doing the heavy cycle…like for pots and pans, drums and stuff”.

Currently based in Bali, Indonesia, Dan has been DJing for over 15 years. His musical tastes span from high-energy italo disco to introspective dub techno and the many corners in between.

Before Bali, Dan was based in San Francisco, USA from 2012 to 2020, playing at everything from Burning Man to outdoor renegades, club nights, and historic house parties. During this time, he hosted two long-running parties—one as an outlet for his italo disco collection, and the other for house and techno. Since moving to Bali in 2020, he has collaborated with revered local venues and radio stations such as Peels Bali and Bandung, Norrm Radio, Headstream Radio at Potato Head, and Paddygrooves Radio.
