Today's transmission is delivered by Lithuanian artist Erikas aka Roudtraxx. As an eager and restless digger, Erikas has been involved in the Lithuanian music scene for over 5 years at various record shops, clubs, bars, and festival nights. In addition to this, he is a crew member of independent community voice of Radio Vilnius.

In the words of Roudtraxx "I feel glad to contribute, devote and stay true to myself. Music culture & the scene guide to interesting feelings, discoveries, understandings. Even a simple hour-long DJ mix may impact."

Expect hints of a rolling acid, twangy tech and progressive house.

Her mixes travel through Techno, Tech House, Electroclash, Hardcore and more giving off relentless energy and we're delighted to have her involved.

"The mix is inspired by my recent set at Field Maneuvers so anyone who was there might recognise a few bits off it! Really went for a go big or go home festival bangers set traversing across early 2000s tech house slammers, electroclash classics and early '90s hardcore belters. Polito are a group of musicians who have just released a new album called ‘Collapse Phase’. The record is self described as “a meeting of improvised contemporary dance and live improvised techno music, working together to create entrancing performance experiences”.

Drawing upon a broad array of influences the music has a number of multifaceted touch points – Dub, Techno, IDM, House and the spaces in between are all explored through a unique approach driven by live improvisation and collaboration.

Polito is a collaboration between musicians Robert Downie and Finnian Langham, and dancers Arabella Frahn-Starkie and Hillary Goldsmith.

This mixtape showcases their diverse approach to sound design and helps to build a narrative around the group and what their music means.
