A wonderful blend of deep and dear house, melodies and memories throughout, Reece’s mix he describes as almost in ‘two parts’, a progression from ‘house to Detrotier stuff’.

Meandering pads and other worldly ambient synth sounds merge to give life to releases such as 'Live At The Edge' released earlier this year on 12th Isle, while samples of the Far East and organic percussive rhythms create an energy and playfulness found on releases such as his trilogy for Parisian label Antinote; a signature touch often interweaved within his music often joined by slamming synths and deep basslines designed for the dance floor.

Much like his latest release on Good Morning Tapes, this mix explores the latter, delving into the darker reaches of D.K.'s sound, ensnaring listeners with hypnotic, high-energy percussion, bewitching vocal snippets and menacing bass that'll have you captivated from the beginning - welcome D.K.

For anyone who's caught a Tony Neptune set, either online or offline, you'll know the Leeds DJ, producer and Dimensions DJ Directory member doesn't do things in half measures. 

As both Tony and his other alias Yuri - a tip of the hat to Yuri Gagarin, the first human to journey into outer space - he's no stranger to 6-hour long mixes, sometimes immortalised in his lengthy back-to-backs with fellow Leeds DJ Mark 'Turbo' Turner. 

Last month he shared his first productions with the world; a debut EP titled Reflections on a Daring Escape that moves through emotive electro and further serves as a vehicle for Neptune to tell a story for the senses, by combining his own visual paintings with the music. 

In typical fashion for his Shine A Light On mix he delivers a live recording from his three hour set at Gut Level, a party in Sheffield, just before lockdown commenced. A journey through everything from oddball wave to slow industrial, EBM, new wave and electro, the mix picks up the pace continuing to build until its climax...

Pepe del Noche has been in the forefront of the electronic music scene since the early 90s. He is running since 2017 a monthly show on Rinse Fm called « l’Acid Rendez-Vous » and hosts party events with the same name. Since 2019 he has been the artistic director of Champs libres Festival, in Ardèche south of France.
