Throughout the brief history of time there have been some epic battles. Alien vs Predator, Batman vs Superman and, most memorably, that giant cat vs Birmingham City Centre. One of the most recent additions to this list is Woolfy vs Projections, though in truth the atmosphere between the musical collaborators is considerably friendlier than the one between the Brummies and that enormous feline. Their new album Stations completes their trilogy of of albums based around the concept of lost astronaut Captain Starlight. As these adventures have come to an end, for now at least, we filled up some of their time by getting them to provide us with this week's Shine A Light On mix.

Woolfy vs Projections - The 'Shine A Light On' Ransom Note Mix

London and Berlin based duo John and Alex previously enjoyed success with former projects and aliases in the underground house and techno music world having had their music played on dance floors nationally and internationally. 

After a change of musical direction, 2014 then saw the birth and success of "Ninewire".

Influenced by a wide range of underground sounds and labels across the house and techno spectrum, Ninewire have since bought their own new sound to the dance floors since 2014.

Regulars on the London DJ scene with notable releases on VIVa MUSiC, Motek, Hide + Seek & Tympanic amongst others, Ninewire have also enjoyed BBC Radio 1 plays (Pete Tong show) and were selected on VIVa's "best of" album compilation.

Recent releases include the Ninewire remix of Cleave Martinez - No Way Back, on Motek, and was subsequently included in Motek Music's top 10 - Best Of 2018.
