Night People are a deep House and Disco  outfit from the Portsmouth area . 
Night people was set up in 2009 as an outlet to play the music we love ,with out complying to any format . Basically, anything and everything goes Playing music from every corner of the dance.  

We hold our own partys at various venues in and around Portsmouth . With regular slots at  'THE BARN' , 'SAY WHAT' (Brighton) , 'INDIGO' (Portsmouth) and 'MIRRORBALL DISCO' (Portsmouth). 
Our love of music draws back to mid nineties sounds of proper US Garage from the likes of Kerri Chandler , MAW , Mood 2 Swing , Todd Terry , Ron Trent etc and deep house sounds of the UK by producers like Noel Watson , Phil Asher , DIY , Salt City Orchestra and many more . 

As our knowledge of Music grew, we introducing more varied styles to our sets . Playing records from Broken Beat / Nu jazz scene from the likes of Germany's Jazzanova and Truby Trio to londons favourite jazz heads - Patrick forge , New Sector Movements and Domu. At the same time we started playing alot more Disco and Funk . This is now what we are all about - good music!
