A collaboration between three multi-talented brothers from Stony Plain, AB and their long-time friend from the neighbouring community of Spruce Grove has become a rising force in the local music scene and across Canada since its inception in early 2012. The Red Cannons quickly became known for a style reflecting strong blues-rock roots, often striking comparisons to The Black Keys and The White Stripes, but maintaining a strong sense of individuality through catchy melodies and polished, evocative songwriting. 

The Red Cannons released its demo, self-titled EP in September 2012, which led to a tour throughout Western Canada and a steady stream of gigs across Alberta. Momentum continued to build for the band following the release of its single "Underneath the Floorboards," a track inspired by The Telltale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. Radio stations began to take notice and soon, The Red Cannons were pumping through the airwaves around the country and "Underneath the Floorboards" became the most requested song in Edmonton on 100.3 The Bear. This summer, the band landed opening spots for Chilliwack at Canada Day celebrations in Fort Saskatchewan and for The Tea Party at K-Days, one of Edmonton's largest summer festivals. However, The Red Cannons aren't slowing down and have just released their debut EP which is available on iTunes.
