RagnaRok a.k.a Alex Leficura started the production career in late summer 2011. After some demos a Label from scotland contacted me late in december to give out some tracks. March 2012 his first EP came out called Crusade of darkness on STORM RECORDS. After that RagnaRok did 4 more ep´s for the same label.Then things started a little snowball effect In july same year he visited amsterdam and the famous Thunderdome Radio and played the same week as Dominator festival,and the last time he played there was the last Thunderdome Edition - The Final Exam!

He was also invited to play on Toxic Sickness Radio(Dj Chimera) and The Third Movement (Terminal & Vavaculo show)is more of his merrits! More labels where interested like Braincore Recordings (Speedcore Label ),GGM Raw and the latest edition is upcoming Motormouth Records and The Dutch Label Noisj! Wich there is a realese soon April/May. No more to say that this guy is an upcoming artist and soon playing around the world.

THE RELIC is man of many identities.
Cubic Nomad, Dark Earth, E-MP-Hasis, Ecister, Hidden Rooms, I-mpact, Maui Pentocosto, Nightshade, The 7th Sign, Zanthrax... to name a few.

Maurice Pinkster started producing slow hardcore in the 90s. He was making slowcore before it was called downtempo. As mentioned earlier, he is a man of many faces; techno, dark electronic, dirty acidlines... Anything raw and energetic: you name it, he produces or spins it!

In this recording, we take you back to the night before Ascension.
The Relic was destroying the dancefloor to the max, Loophole, De Helling, Utrecht, was on fire!

The Relic @ Under the Veil of Gloom - Doomsday

Industrial hardcore has been one of the most consistent styles that hardcore has spawned, going strong since the turn of the millennia. The same goes for The Relic, moniker of Dutch producer Maurice Pinkster, who has been a steady contributor, and a key player of the scene since its humble beginnings. 

After starting as a producer in 1994, initially releasing on various labels, he found his first home on FIX Records and Neophyte’s Symp.tom, where he released a string of influential 12”es. After Symp.tom went defunct, he created his own label Dark.Descent. in order to be able to develop The Relic – and his various other projects like Zanthrax, Dual Mechanism, Hidden Rooms (dark acid techno) and of course Cubic Nomad (from hard rhythmic IDM to serene ambience) with complete artistic freedom. 

Pushing dark and industrial hardcore and techno forward, Dark.Descent has also released prolific artists like Embrionyc, Dep Affect, Sei2ure, Sound Abuse, Starving Insect and many more; The Relic has cooperated with artists such as Dep Affect, Moleculez, Innovative, Sidephex, Mute. and remixed the likes of Neophyte, Human Resource, Mono No Aware, Sacerdos Vigilia, Traffik, Embrionyc, Somatic Responses, ▲NGST or X-Core. 

The Relic now looks back at a triptych of bunker-themed full-length albums, all pinnacles of his extra-dark, trademark sound that has brought him wide recognition across genre borders. His reputation as a DJ is also more than rock solid, and many of his killer mixes can be found online or via the infamous “Ben Harder Show” which he co-founded.
