Madison Beer - Dear Society (Fluxc & IntoAlter Remix)

Psychedelic Disco Tech (P.D.T.) is a monthly party held in The Carlton Club, a beautifully dilapidated Bowling and social club tucked out of the way a couple of streets down from where I live in Whalley Range, Manchester.
I was honoured to be asked to open up their first lockdown party, playing before resident DJHelen and Andy Robinson who both smashed it out of the virtual park. The event was hosted on Twitch. We decided to keep the first 45 minutes or so as a 'meet and greet' session in the chat room. So I played some 'ambient' music behind a virtual screen whilst pretending to be my tour manager and chatted to people as they turned up. The great thing about this was that there was a lot of conversation around what a beautiful sunset and evening it was. As it got darker I ramped it up a bit but tried to play across the board as much as I could. I reckoned that a lockdown psychedelic party ought to try to take us on a journey out of our living rooms and around the planet a little.
There is definite evidence of red wine, herbs and getting caught in conversation in the chat room. But that's testament perhaps to the party vibe :) I hope that you enjoy the trip and get to check the party out in person sometime.
