We love when music tells a story. We love it more when music completes a story. Two anguished hearts caught in the woes of love attempt to translate their hurt in their art. Their creativity transports them to a plane where they connect again. A plane forged by music, dance and a common intensity of emotion. An original rearrangement of Mehdi Hassan and Ahmad Faraz’s ghazal “Ranjish Hi Sahi” frames and feeds the story.

The musical endeavours of this band focus on interpreting some of the best tunes of all time in an innovative and contemporary manner. As a tribute to the music legends, TRP’s renditions retain the essence and nostalgia of the original compositions but by imparting their own musical element, they attempt to produce absolutely refreshing rearrangements . Majorly creating instrumental pieces, the band displays an interesting fusion of sounds. Made on a sunday afternoon after our saxophone player had a tiff with his mother , the song features a tremendous solo by our guitar player and is a dedication to every musician trying to make it , as no one gets him

Our maiden attempt at a funk composition. We jammed endlessly to get this one tight and here it is. Enjoy the transitions and groove along.

Rough And Straight

The inception of the band is a result of a long thought process over 
bringing back some of the greatest tunes of all time and adding to it 
our own style . TRP is all about paying tribute to the distinguished 
musicians and unmasking a new rendition of some of their best hits . 
Our motive is to explore more and give to the audience, a newer 
version/taste of these songs while keeping them all hooked and 
nostalgic . Ours is purely an instrumental band giving feel of a jam band with some whacked out musicians . You don't want to miss this!
