A song to accompany a short story that started life as a simple children's picture book. A tale of wonder and whimsy, this story follows Elliot, a boy who sets out one restless night in search of the moon. Guided by ribbons of mischievous moonlight, he stumbles into a hidden world alive with glowing creatures, absent-minded gnomes, and extraordinary ways of travel—from pirate ships that sail on mist, to a runaway steam train powered by imagination, to a balloon “borrowed” from the skies themselves. Each adventure takes him closer, yet never quite there, until a silver rocket finally carries him to the moon’s quiet surface, where Earth’s blue glow reminds him of something far greater: home. Both a fantastical journey and a heartfelt reflection, it’s a story about curiosity, family, and the realization that even the grandest adventures are best when shared.
