This is a rehearsal track.  It has the slackers playing a pretty cool tune that we never ended up recording in a studio.

This is from 1995 and we are rehearsing in the 3rd street rehearsal studio that Jeff Baker made famous as 'version city.'

These are selections from an USB compilation we will be selling at shows. It includes tracks from Better Late Than Never, The Nods, the Slackers live in 1993, The Slackers live in 1995, Compilation Tracks, and Rehearsal tapes.  Over 60 tracks!

Of the selections here, Valerie is from a rehearsal in 1995 and probably hasn't been heard since.  Run Away is from Better Late Than Never.  Gasoline is from the Nods cd.

In honor of their 20th anniversary, the Slackers have released a collection of 20 tunes.

The tunes were picked by fans as their 'favorites' in a poll taken around 6 months ago.  

Then Vic went through the archives and selected versions of the tunes.  All these songs were remastered, many from the original vinyl.   The vinyl sound gives the digital recordings a nice warm organic sound.  

So don't freak out when you hear the vinyl 'noise' on a track, its meant to be there.

This limited edition collection is currently available exclusively at the Slackers merch table.
