Ambient improvisational funky jam band from Newport News, VA, Professor Marvel, has released two full length instrumental albums on iTunes and are currently finishing up their third work, "Cultures," which is an improvisational exploration of diverse genres blended with folk-like harmonies and a hint of EDM influence. They have played at a number of venues and festivals all over Virginia over the last 3 years, such as The Pink Moon Festival, Not Fade Away Festival, The Camel, Doc Taylor's, Shaka's, The Jewish Mother, The Norva, City Dogs, Hoss's Deli, and The Taphouse. The festival season on the east coast is looking promising for the Marvel crew next year and their following is continuously growing throughout VA.
