From the first illegal raves in Buenos Aires, to becoming an international artist's platform based in Barcelona. A long process of learning, growth and consolidation have passed. The ‘9 Years Compilation’ faithfully expresses our history, but above all our present, always with an eye looking to the future. 15 new original tracks carefully chosen to create a polychromatic musical adventure, with diverse nuances and intensities. Scott Franka - Sweep / De Lichting één

There was a weight which pressed firmly inside his chest, it was heavy and dense leaving him dizzy and confused. How could it be that he had this little left? He had never once imagined that he might be the one crawling through the undergrowth, all alone, whilst the rich and the wealthy watched on with little care and disregard. Once upon a time he had been like them, almost equal in fact. He'd thought that he would have it all and that his reality was destined for the glory and fame of a bygone age. Now he was much like any other, a pauper and a sinner. 

Pletnev is set to release a new EP on Feines Tier - an interesting, oddball affair which challenges the preconceptions and limitations of modern day house music. The release is rounded off by a remix from Ana Helder - a well rounded release which comes highly recommended.

Scala XIV (Excerpt from Likelihood EP)

Coming off the back of their fierce remix of Lou Hayter’s ‘MBJCFM’, Rheinzand trade seats for the receiving end. On this first of a bundle of three remix EP’s, it’s the Belgian trio’s disco splurge ‘Obey’ that gets the treatment.
On the first slot of four, SIRS (aka Daniel Klein) puts his bouncy staccato grooves to work in a sped up housey version.
On ‘Hardway Bros Stereo Odyssey’, acid house veteran and disco devotee Sean Johnston filters the theatrical sheen through glitchy techno beats in something like a cyborg re-assemblage. Pure Terminator funk. A live mix of this version, recorded at the SSL, features as well on track 3.
Scorpio Twins finish off with an epic of coruscating lightworks that somehow seems nocturnal at the same time. This is absolutely stunning sound work, if we’re allowed to say. Crystal glass structures, shimmering through space in circuit of thumping bass drums.
