Når Christo og Stephan funnet seg helt stillestående med livet , bestemte de seg en flytte ut av sitt hjemland Norge ville være den største avgjørelsen i det hele tatt. De trodde USA ville være det beste stedet for dem . Den eneste amerikanske filmen de noensinne hadde sett var Scarface . Den eneste amerikansk musikk de noen gang har hørt var kunstneren tidligere kjent som The Fresh Prince . De bestemte seg for å bosette seg på Miami. Selv om Christo og Stephan visste ikke engelsk , visste de det internasjonale språket . DANCING !! Resten er historie .

I've always hoped to get a song on the radio, now that it's happened, I make music for my enjoyment, and hopefully for others.. its a great life, when the things that make you happy are within your reach.. Born in Martigues also known as the "Little Venice of Provence" (France), Julien Sammut aka Samo & Co is a multi-instrumentalist composer and music explorer. He began experimenting on Logic Pro fifteen years ago, starting with his first Synthwave album « Night Fragment » in 2014, he aimed to create a unique sensorial auditory experience blending sounds and fragrances from the 80s & 90s.

After 5 years travelling around the world looking for new musical perspectives, Julien returned to France in 2018 with a new Cyberpunk album "Odyssey" and the aspiration to work as professional composer in the music industry. Graduated from the National Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2020, he founded the same year his company - JVS PROD - which assists artists & creative agencies to design exclusive music & visual content.

Stylistically the « Samo & Co » project moves between Synthwave, Tech-house and Electronica but his genre is limitless. Finding roots in a large music sprectrum legacy coming from atypical artists and movie directors such as Kavinsky, John Carpenter, Justice, Carpenter Brut, Ridley Scott, MN84, Jean Michel Jarre... Julien always manages to give birth to eclectic musical stories combining his drummer background and the use of vintage synths. 

During his exclusive live sets he combines retro keyboards, drum pads and sounds coming from the outer space to sculpt an hypnotic groove that sets the dance floor on fire.
