Grounded Podcast number 56 welcomes a previously featured artist in 'I HATE MODELS'  from Paris, France whose track 'Modern Image Slavery' was given away as a FREE DOWNLOAD at the beginning of the year. Since then he has been working hard on plenty of new material and highlighted the variety of his musical influences and style with an EP titled 'The Lost Tapes' which was released on Dutch label 'Aries' which showcases a less brutal side of his work that we are accustomed to. Spektre (Drumcode / Respekt), one of Britain’s hottest techno duos, attacks the techno World with an unprecedented single!

“Without Warning” is Spektre’s case study on today’s Techno. Uncommon, speedy, dark and above all, trippy, it is a track that rewrites the rules on how a proper track should be.

Melancholic and dark, but precise and crisp at the same time -a typical Spektre characterstic- “Without Warning” is composed upon the concept of making a difference. Huge bass pads bring out melodies that move and travel the audience while on the same time spacey strings and groovy drum patterns generate the antithesis that makes the energy circulate in this excellent track’s veins.

Thomas Schumacher’s (Drumcode / Noir) approach is manifested upon pure energy. 
Advanced engineering and authentic inspiration meet, to create a perfectly blended dark-as-the-gates-of-the-underworld killer groove and fresh rhythmical elements, all mixed along to forge a track destined to stir bedrocks and definitely question their structural rigidity!

D-Deck (Alleanza / Phobiq) inserts his life experience in music-making into his remix and totally transforms the track, generating a new existence. This is a 4 AM track, definitely made to move large crowds. Present and recognized in the scene thanks to collaborations with artists such as The YellowHeads - TYH, T78, Balthazar & JackRock, Jusaï, Abyssvm, Dani Sbert, Gene Karz, Danny Fontana, Uakoz, Marck D, Schuhmacher, Forest People, Alex D ' elia, Robin Hirte, DeKRA, Fabiann and many others.

The French techno wizard introduced our basement to his powerful signature sound on 08.02.2019 and delivered a superb session of relentlessly and mesmerizing techno from the tougher end of the spectrum.

Yan Oxygen returns to VOLTAGE Records with a 2-tracker that's flooded with diversity.

'Photon' is dark and intense. Based on haunting narrating vocals, huge bass pads and seqs with a pinch of acid, this track is created to create an effect on demanding crowds.

'About...' describes a musical journey. Pads, sidechains, drones and razor-sharp bass leads combine, creating an atmosphere between melodic and dark techno, thus compiling a trully unique original.

An extraordinary figure in the second generation of Techno producers to emerge from the electronic music explosion of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Cari Lekebusch has sustained over thirty years in music through an unwavering commitment and an unquenchable desire to constantly move things forward. Credited as being the figurehead of the globally influential Swedish Techno scene that subsequently spawned internationally recognized names such as Adam Beyer, Alexi Delano, Joel Mull, Jesper Dahlback, Pär Grindvik, Petter B and Nima Khak. Lekebusch's standing as a studio innovator and production authority is well documented. He has borne many pseudonyms over the course of his illustrious career including; Fred (Missile Records), Mr Barth (Svek, Plumphouse), Braincell (Harthouse) and his electro moniker Mystic Letter K, to name a few. He has experimented with sounds across a range from Techno to Electro; releasing on well respected labels such as Novamute, Soma, Primevil, Harthouse, Missile, Turbo, Mote Evolver, 430 West, ISL, Sleaze UK, Svek, Drumcode, Truesoul, CLR, Moln Records and his own label imprint H-Productions (former Hybrid Productions).

While still in school Cari started his own imprint H-Productions to be able to always have an uncompromised platform for his most personal experiments. The label has since 1986 featured an impressive array of extraordinary sound architects from around the globe and has undergone many changes that obviously are a reflection of Cari's own desire to develop as a producer. The term sound architect describes his work as a performer, Cari is an instinctive and imaginative DJ with a distinctive style that has earned him a loyal and intelligible supporter base. Invited as a regular guest to many of the premier Techno clubs and events across the globe, Cari is most at home playing sets that wiggle between full on peak time exuberance and ever so slightly off the wall weirdness.
