The idea behind The Weekend Session is to write, record, and mix an album within a weekend. For the third session in August 2013, the initiators of the project, Luc Montini and Olivier Joliat, invited 18 musicians, a photographer and a graphic designer to freak out at One Drop Studios Basel.

Although most musicians barely knew each other, the moment was captured and hardly any song took longer than two hours to record. 14 songs were finished during the weekend!


The release show will be november 22nd at Kaserne Basel.
