The “Zeitgeist” album is available now!

Camo & Krooked are back with their new album “Zeitgeist”. Two years on and the follow up to “Cross The Line” truly encapsulates the sound of Camo & Krooked 2.0. Already seeing heavyweight DJ support from across the board, “Zeitgeist” is jam-packed with disco, French house and minimal influences, which are merged together with the signature Camo & Krooked sound to form an awe-inspiring 15-track package. The album also features key collaborations with fellow Hospital star Metrik and Norwegian indie-electronic duo Lemâitre .

Kicking things off is the epic “Turn Back The Time” which introduces us into this brave new world of sultry synths, sharp beats and disco-influenced aesthetics which form the backbone of the album. Then we have the familiar sounds of the ever-catchy undulating white noise of “All Night” and dancefloor detonator “Move Around (ft. Ian Shaw)”. Watch out for other gems including “Aurora (ft. Metrik)” with its epic trance-like soundscape, the soulful sounds of “Loving You Is Easy”, the enticing and experimental “Ruhepuls” and collaborative smasher “Dreamcatcher (ft. Lemaitre)” with its fidgety beats and infectiously upbeat vibe.

Expect the unexpected as Camo & Krooked continue to push the boundaries with their impressive opus, “Zeitgeist”. Like all the best albums, “Zeitgeist” makes sense as a whole and should be enjoyed from start to finish.

Man O To from the elusive producer NU is finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels. Since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in 2012 the track has clocked up tens of millions of Youtube hits and now heralds in a much coveted artist album due later this year. Remix treatment comes from Parisian producer ​Pépé Bradock and live artist Be Svendsen.

A nomad of modern times, ​NU​ has travelled the continents with his diverse music to unearth his imitable style. Repres​ented heavily in ​Man O To, where instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer Armand Amar.

Julien Auger aka ​Pépé Bradock​ is a widely respected producer best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style. Bradock conjures a trippy remix and dub version of ​Man O To and fitting ode to the original.

Be Svendsen​ aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn. ​“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched th​ e hearts of many, including my own,’ Svendsen explained.​ ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.”

Making their return to NoExcuse, this time with their own EP on our Limited imprint are Spanish producers Knober, Sylter. This production pairing has seen some great releases in the past, their remix of Luigi Rocca on our main label being one of them.

Kicking off the release is the title track 'Ask Yourself'. A typical take on the NoExcuse Limited sound, containing lots of momentum and groove and accompanied by several punchy, atmospheric elements which build continuously throughout the track. 

Swiftly following on from the former is a potent remix from Paul Cart, his signature spin on the title track boasts an uptempo adaptation loaded with quirky percussion, gargantuan buildups and equally robust drops. All of the above sits perfectly atop of a foundation of able-bodied drums and a booming bassline...

Ending the EP on a strong note is 'Busy Time', a vigorous rolling Tech weapon that revolves around a mighty bassline and hypnotic vocal. The standout addition of pitch bent and arpeggiated percussion to the mix gives it a really unique character.
