Candids est né en l’an 2012. Depuis, dans un univers pastel oscillant entre jeunesse extasiée et décadence maladive, Candids crache sa fougue le bonheur aux lèvres, l’esprit vagabond, alternant mélodies pop vaporeuses, synthés cold wave et guitares turbulentes au gré des sensations qu’éprouvera son myocarde. Au milieu du vacarme, les gosses de Candids, insouciants et insolents, s’évertuent à transmettre leur énergie solaire et à attraper les âmes égarées en leur distillant ses refrains à la fois nostalgiques et salvateurs.

Wiki Chaves captures his world through instrumental pieces influenced by electronic, ambient and organic music, mainly using guitars and beats.

His songs are inspired by his travels and experiences around the globe. Furthermore, they trace a sort of personal map that refers not only to places, but also to feelings anchored in moments, the open road, national parks and wild beaches.

Composer and performer. Electro acoustic clarinet obsessive. Been on this platform for so long it's become a time capsule, each of these tracks are snapshots into my life at varying points in time. My new works and albums are on Bandcamp now but I post here every now and then.
