Following up their well received debut single ‘Almost Home’, Hoki step up the tempo with their second release - ‘Some Kind of Beautiful’.  The Montreal-based duo display their ability to unite the world of electronic and indie influences, fusing an emotional ballad with a dark and driving groove, primed to ignite dance floors. Vocalist Brent McCormick opens the track with a haunting melody, which launches into producer Varti Deuchoghlian’s driving bass line. The two collide perfectly as it settles into a slick house groove, making ‘Some Kind of Beautiful’ a true contender.

Facundo Mohrr is a name very familiar to those following the deep and melodic house scene. The Argentinian producer is amongst the All Day I Dream elite, with a knack for progressive melodies and melancholic tinges to his signature groovy productions. Facundo has taken the edge off Hoki’s dark original, bringing the track into summer festival territory with a beautiful melodic remix. He’s lengthened the arrangement, placing emphasis on Brent’s seductive vocals while adding a proper build and kick for dance floor hysteria.

Las Vegas resident Nathan Clement has been cultivating his DJ skills since 1998 and is rapidly establishing himself as a producer in the realm of underground electronic dance music. His musical journey began in the 1990’s with the explosion of trance music. Whilst attending infamous clubs and parties in Southern California and Las Vegas, Nathan was exposed to the likes of John Digweed, Sasha, Quivver, and Dave Seaman, whom transformed his musical taste and shifted his focus onto mastering the art of DJing. He was immediately attracted to labels such as: Baroque, Circulation, Fade, Bedrock, and Hooj Choons, while he discovered how to lure enthusiasts and transform a dance floor into a surreal experience. In 2000, his passion for quality dance music and exceptional programming skills secured him a residency with promoters, Lucid Entertainment. Nathan performed at several of Las Vegas’ top events including the weekly party, Midnight Mass (SRO Las Vegas) and Candyland (Utopia Las Vegas). From warehouses parties to club events, Nathan was DJing alongside leading acts in the industry.
Nathan took a hiatus from DJ appearances in the mid-2000’s to concentrate on track production; refining his musical composition, sound design, and sound engineering skills. Nathan underwent the typical tribulations of any self-taught producer but with the completion of Rock Rose in 2013, he felt confident enough to begin shopping his work to record labels. Polytechnic Recordings immediately signed his Rock Rose EP and since then, Nathan has been fortunate enough to release original work and remixes on Evoked Recordings and Emotional Content Recordings. 
Nathan’s hard work and detail-orientation has paid off in the past few years. His deep, bass-driven, melodic, UK progressive house style has been capturing attention through his DJ performances around the West Coast of the United States and internationally via internet radio. Nathan has played at a variety of venues like Avalon in Los Angeles and opened for international acts, Mark Farina and Quivver. He has been featured on Frisky Radio, Proton Radio, Diesel FM, and is a resident of the Global Transmission podcast series. Nathan has no plans for slowing down and expects to release more of his work at the beginning of 2016. In due time, Nathan will expand his discography, as well as, storm the dance floors across the globe.

Koddi was a bassist during his college and high school years; he was influenced at that time by bands such as Rage againt The Machine, Nirvana, Offspring, Limp Bizkit ...
A few years later he turned to electronic music after meeting Daox in 2005.
Member of the collective Runtomorrow, some of you already have the cross behind the DJ Booth several of the capital of France : Gibus, Petit Bain, Chalet du Lac, Batofar, Nuba, Cube, Malibv, Concorde Atlantic...
Along with that, he is one of the founders of a project of collaborative music platform and participatory PWFM Provocative Wave For Music, whose first event will be held Saturday, July 30 at Le 6B, a legendary spot in Paris; he worked actively to the realization of Moga Festival, the first festival that Runtomorrow organizes in collaboration with Panda Events.
Event to be held in the city of Essaouira in Morocco, in the natural settings of the series "Game Of Thrones"!

'Few producers can match the meteoric rise of Kastis Torrau and as the Lithuanian producer returns to Proton Music, "Route 88" opens up with remixes from Belarusian and Dutch stars.

An artist with a 24-carat reputation plus skills and technique to match, Kastis Torrau has been at the cutting edge of underground dance music since he burst onto the scene with Donatello and Arnas D in 2011 – triumphant in the Sasha remix competition for "Cut Me Down". A subsequent appearance on Last Night On Earth rubber-stamped Torrau's global status as 'rising star', while a string of productions found their way on to Einmusika, Hope Recordings and Black Hole. A regular on Proton Music since August 2014, "Genesis" in collaboration with fellow countryman, Donatello, saw subsequent A-list remixes from Barry Jamieson and Darin Epsilon. Now returning, "Route 88" is characterised by a typically bristling bassline that drives the track relentlessly forward, wrapped around an immaculate and crisp rhythmic shell. Sublime melodic flourishes ripple across the stereo spectrum, building in the breakdown to introduce an exquisite counterpoint phrase before rhythm and bass hit hard again in the third movement.

A true star across his Belarusian home and far beyond its borders, Dmitry Molosh has seen his career skyrocket with his performances across Europe and South America in August 2019. Seeing his music feature on such illustrious labels as Replug, Sudbeat and Plattenbank, supported by such household names as Nick Warren, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo, he featured on Particles with both original and remix production work in 2014 and '15. Making his Proton Music debut and reinventing Kastis Torrau, the Dmitry Molosh remix opens with a chest-thumping kick before reprising the bassline so central the original. Before long, a swathe of new production material appears that introduces new melodic structures and phrases that reach their zenith at the breakdown with beautiful piano notes and sumptuous pad textures. Hitting its stride in the third movement, all elements combine to create a wonderful new "Route 88".

Always in demand with their imaginative work for the likes of EIN2, Traum and Mango Alley, Huminal's relationship with Particles and Proton Music has seen the Dutch duo feature with a host of original music. After a debut remixing Nikko.Z in June 2015, the twin-track "Knocking on the Sky" followed before "We Dwell in the Past" arrived with a bang a year later and "Macropsia" came into view in October 2018. Always at the cutting edge of sound design, The Huminal remix is as immaculate as it is elegant with a raft of intelligent production techniques that sees "Route 88" build with trademark momentum across the seven-minute track. A filtered and gated analogue bass pattern rises and falls throughout while a gloriously produced breakdown sequence ripples with a new melodic sequence that gently pulsates. Rhythmic and melodic groove then join forces again in the second half to devastating effect.

With a beautifully smooth and powerful track, Kastis Torrau drives effortlessly along "Route 88" with remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Huminal.'

'The latest release from Movement Recordings finds label boss Tash presenting his debut collaborations with Starkato. Greek artist and Movement boss Tash has continued to deliver cutting edge productions in 2019, most recently his cosmic romp 'Future Funk' was released alongside fellow Movement artist Dousk. Similarly Starkato has had a great year, highlighted by well received releases for Asymmetric Recordings, Beatfreak Recordings and Somatic Records. Now returning to Movement he joins forces with label boss Tash for a two track EP entitled 'SQR' alongside remixes from Wally Lopez and SEQU3l. 

Both Tash and Starkato are much loved for their exploration of all things progressive and techno. The meeting of two such creative minds is always an exciting prospect and they deliver two stunning pieces of music beginning with the title selection 'SQR'. Punchy and dynamic from the outset, it's electric groove provides a large presence while astral arps and rugged bass tones fill in the framework. Stripping down into the break, a second arp fades to prominence, building anticipation before gritty bass tones set up a huge drop. The companion piece 'The Bash' flows through a plethora of emotions across its eight minute running time. Beginning with a dark, ominous vibe the creation evolves through wavering synth motifs, exotic percussion and squelchy swells. Perhaps a touch deeper and more emotive  than its predecessor, it's a poignant yet tense centrepiece which steals the show, flowing through unique design qualities and redolent hooks, which ultimately sets up a charming final act.

The lone interpretation of 'SQR' is provided by Wally Lopez who makes his label debut. The Spanish artist has been a fixture of the electronic underground for over two decades, having travelled the world showcasing his DJ skills while also landing releases on Beatfreak Recordings and Selador. Now making his much anticipated Movement Recordings debut he provides a powerful rendition of 'SQR'. Taking a cue from the original, Wally strips the framework down for a tough yet spacey cut primed for dance floor destruction. The boundless first act creates a dark narrative which opens up an emotional reservoir during the main break. Reflective yet astral it's a unique centrepiece which perfectly sets up a cosmic finale. 

The release concludes with Movement Recordings artist SEQU3l return to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'The Bash'. As one of India's premiere progressive house talents, the Pune resident lays claim to a meticulous discography, highlighted by releases on Beat Boutique, Beatfreak Recordings and Perfecto Black. Now presenting his first remix of the year SEQU3l returns to Movement with a stunning rendition of 'The Bash'. The transcendent energy from the original translates really well with a crunchy, rippling low end ultimately setting the pace. The astral qualities have been reprocessed with a gorgeous effervescent sheen, while the main break adds just the right amount of drama to make a buzzing drop hugely impactful. A superb remix from SEQU3l which caps off another must have release from Tash's Movement Recordings.'

'We continue to deliver our message of truth. This time we invite two German titans to the fray as hyped and fast-rising newcomer Julian Wasserman and longstanding wire-tapping veteran Florian Kruse make their debut on the label. Both known for deep pulsating emotive tracks, both boasting discographies that share some of the same labels - Stil Vor Talent, Last Night On Earth, Kompakt - it was only a matter of time before Wasserman and Kruse crossed paths in the studio. But no one could have predicted an outcome like immense geographical excursion. Raising in drama throughout, first we look 'Nord' as a pulsating kick and bass plunge gradually build up into minimal deep funk groove that's tailored for big systems and a creepy topline that's tailored for taking your crowd cruising longitudes they didn't know existed. It's backed by its polar opposite 'Sued' where a similar stripped-back dynamic is applied with added sweeps of pads and precision timed twinkles on the fills. Star-lit and stately, this one was tailored for the most late night adventures. Finally we take in the entire latitude and spin around the world on 'Breitengrad'. A much more persistent and harder-edged tune with more bassline and synth mutations than a nuclear landfill, it's palpitating, pensive and highly strung in tension. And leaves us hungry for more adventures. Set coordinates to stun, as we leave boundaries behind us, as usual.'

'Brookyln-based producer Reed Kackley has been hard at work ravishing the electronic music stratosphere under his moniker BAILE. Staying true to his signature sound, he returns to House of Youth with 'KWT' featuring K. Marie Kim on vocals.

“I had initially envisioned 'KWT' as an instrumental, but upon finishing it up I decided to pepper in some vocals samples I had lying around from an unreleased track with Marie Kim. It still felt incomplete, so I asked Marie if she wanted to record something new over the instrumental. At that point the track finally had the arc I was searching for and felt fully realized.”

BAILE blends trip hop with lounge once again in this release, and the effect is as warm and fleeting as a dream There's a lot to be discovered here, with rich sounds and textures buried in layers within the production. Marie Kim overlays the track with a lamenting vocal about a relationship about to fade out.

“The words outline someone letting go of a friendship or relationship that has grown apart over some time. There isn't one party or incident to blame but perhaps compounding resentment. So we go alone - we want to feel perfectly good alone, but most of us don’t.” '
