Operation Julie is a 3-piece alternative rock band with post punk grit and psychedelic rock influences. The pheonix that is Operation Julie rose from the ashes of Jellly on whom, like on everybody else, the lockdown took a huge toll on. With singer and drummer leaving during that time, the remaining members Vee and Mickey Howard had to rethink the format of the band, scaling it down to a 3-piece, with bassist Vee also taking on lead vocals, making the new limitations work to their advantage. The new material that emerged from that transition still bares the melody and hook driven identity of Jellly but with an additional vulnerability in the voice of Vee. 
The Guitar department is left in the capable hands of Mickey Howard, Ex loads of bands, Chelsea, Marty Wilde, Latin Quarter. Blah blah blah. Mickey and Vee are the principle songwriting team and Joining them on the Drums and completing the new 3 piece, previously from Flesh for Lulu is Mr Bish Bishop.

Grammy award winning designers and David Bowie collaborators, Anil Aykan and Jonathan Barnbrook now have their own band producing dark, minimal electronic music.

Tim is one of Glastonbury's Bards, having held the Bardic Chair of Ynys Witrin (Glastonbury) from 2005 to 2007. His music is a magical melting-pot of UK Festival Psychedelia and British Folk, woven in with traditional vocal harmonies, left-field jazz-folk, speed funk and heads down, no nonsense mindful space boogie. Tim's lyrics betray a beautiful intelligence, a mixture of deep emotional, intuitive, other-dimensional and mental understanding and tenderness melded together with the power to reach in and move anyone and enchantingly transport them to another plane. He is best known for his work with bardic folk band Silver on the Tree and founding the Avalonian Free State Choir as part of his vision to perform restored pagan carols.

Sebastian's lyrics are full of longing, melancholy and nostalgia. In English it would be called yearning, in German Sehnsucht and in Portuguese Saudade.
