Anomalocaris is an extinct genus of radiodont, an order of early-diverging stem-group arthropods. It lived during the Cambrian period and is best known from the type species A. canadensis, found in the Stephen Formation (particularly the Burgess Shale) of British Columbia, Canada. Anomalocaris was a large apex predator with a unique appearance, and swam the oceans using the rows of undulating overlapping lobes on the sides of its body.

I started making this piece with the intention of it being a set of songs that could stand on their own as well as being an open collaboration, but then it took on a life of its own, and things just got out of hand from there, lol! 

But I still managed to control myself and didn’t add too many samples though, haha! 

I was listening to 1985 and 1986 hip hop singles when making this so….

You can download this for free as well as some of the unmixed stems on Bandcamp. The lyrics can also be found on Bandcamp since SC didn’t provide enough space in the song info. I reached my description limit!

Well, the idea for this surreal dreamstory came into my mind when I learned that shoes show the importance, identity and class of a man, giving him both protection and safety.
In this ficticious dream a beautiful lady waves her arms as I´m standing in the middle of the street...without shoes...exposed...feeling pretty uneasy and "incomplete"..while I watch my shoes walking down the street...  temptation in  form of a beautiful lady attracted me but I hesitated because the situation was so embarrassing..........
Hubert liked the story immediately and gave it a try...basically only guitars and vocals...but with all the intensity he had to give.
So... "Victim To Her Charms"  was born !

this is a song I wrote for the Alters, a ragtag bunch of fellow amputees,,,sometimes we put our parts together to make a hole……this is the 2nd take with Don “heavyhand” Jones one of the best one legged drummers on the block……this is as far as we got before we started to get a bit “legless”……good fun though……..
