Coming off the back of this long awaited Number 3 debut ‘Runaway EP’ Felov isn’t stopping anytime soon, contributing to Refraction Vol.001 with another deep, minimal track called ‘Vondel’.

Since his release on Transparent Audio in August, Maarten has really plunged into the scene as a respected producer, gaining interest from some of the spectrum’s best known artists and labels. When he first started his musical journey, developing his style and sound, has led Maarten over a lot of trial and error during the past 2 years. Not slowing down, this 22 year old Dutch producer has really found his groove. Compact swung drum beats, completed by deep low end sub grooves is the formula Felov has learnt to master, calling it his signature sound. With a stack of planned releases, this producer has the drive and passion for a bright future.

Armenez shows off his skills with this dark, brooding track of sweeping basses and eerie, haunting samples. Armenez has been an influential figure for us, with his incredible releases on The Mob Recordings being on repeat for years now. The track patiently evolves, exploring the dark side of minimal Drum & Bass to show off a stellar track we are proud to have as our first paid release.

With "Black Obsidian," Serbian artist NEMY forges a sonic artefact as
powerful and enigmatic as its namesake. Like the volcanic glass it's
named after, this LP is the product of immense pressure and heat,
shaped into something that is both sharply defined and incredibly
resilient. NEMY's sound is as uncompromising as the obsidian's
edge—each track a blade, honed with precision and cutting through the
noise with an unwavering clarity.

From the opening strike of "P.M.K" to the deep, dark plunge of
"Abyssal Depths," NEMY's mastery of Drum & Bass, Techno, and Minimal
is evident. Tracks like "Modern Sins" and "Folie à Deux" shimmer like
polished obsidian, reflecting a dark brilliance that reveals new
facets with each listen. The collaboration with MC Swift on
"Undercover Operations" adds another layer, a crackling energy that
courses through the LP like molten lava, only to be crystallised in
the instrumental version—a pure distillation of raw power.

"Black Obsidian" is a testament to NEMY's dedication to his craft, a
collection of tracks that mirror the mysterious allure and unyielding
strength of its titular stone. With each beat and bassline, NEMY
sculpts a world that is both familiar and otherworldly, where the
boundaries of genre dissolve like glass under intense heat, leaving
