Un miércoles más tenemos una nueva cita con nuestra serie de mixes exclusivos. En esta ocasión nos visita Alberto Sánchez, un dj de origen salmantino pero que lleva ya unos años afincado en Sevilla. Con una trayectoria que supera ya las dos décadas detrás de los platos, Alberto se dió a conocer a nivel nacional a su alias Scan Mode con el que ha editado en sellos como Cadenza Lab, Sincopat, Theory Recordings, Cray1 LabWorks o Alma Soul Music, además de su propio sello Raw Rootz que creó hace ya unos años junto al granadino Álvaro Sánchez. En 2018 decidió estrenar un nuevo alias para dar salida a sus producciones de techno más oscuro y duro de las que publicaba como Scan Mode y no ha perdido el tiempo ya que en solo dos años y poco ha tenido la oportunidad de publicar en plataformas como Edit Select, Planet Rhythm, Children of Tomorrow, Illegal Alien o Dynamic Reflection. Como Scan Mode ya apareció hace años a través de la serie Under The Radar, hoy le recibimos disfrazado de RNGD con un mix de esos que apetecen al meterse en un club oscuro, de atmósfera densa y con luces estroboscópicas a toda máquina.

[BIO]: 
Born and raised in Thessaloniki she started her music career in 2012. Annē is a promising upcoming talent fully dedicated to techno music and focused on developing her career as a DJ & producer. Starting as a raver she began to think of music like something extremely experiential.
Her sets are powerful & pumping with never ending dynamics, focused on the perfect interaction with the crowd. As for her music productions she is sharpening her sound having strong references from Detroit while she is trying to print her inner feelings into her tracks.
Being a local artist and resident DJ of executive underground projects in her city, she has shared the booth with some of the most notable international & local artists. Now she is a resident artist on the project Schisma in her city.

In August 2020 she released a very successful Ep ”Fairy dust” on Out of place records, which immediately made her name whispered. nWith strong releases, on Ben Sim’s Label Symbolism, on Out of Place and Soma records she made a bigger step to the music scene while her music has gained massive and diverse support, from artists like Amelie Lens, Answer Code Request, Marcel Fengler, Pan-Pot, Insolate, Volster, Camea, Anfisa Letyago, Joris Voorn & Patrick Mason, just to name a few, charting and playing her tracks very often.

She also became a resident radio producer on Paranoise Radio, a local web radio, and she holds her own monthly shows as a co-founder, while she participated as a guest tutor in Insolate’s online Masterclasses.

Her point of view is that a Dj is never greater than his audience. This is a unique situation where the dancer becomes part of the whole setting of the music being played. In this, her role is as much part of the audience as the dancers. Basically, she always has one foot on the dance floor and one in the booth.

Supportował takich artystów jak Randomer, Nur Jaber, Larix, Concept of Thrill, Bas Mooy, Ansome, Stenny, Blush Response, Cncpt, Ayarcana, Perc, Michał Jabłoński, Lars Huismann, Martyn Hare, Vertical Spectrum, Szmer czy Phase Fatale. Obecny na scenie od 2011 roku. Poza Poznaniem, można było go usłyszeć również w wielu ważniejszych miejscówkach, m.in. Warszawie, Szczecinie, Gdańsku, Krakowie czy Katowicach. Skupiony przede wszystkim na szerokim wachlarzu brzmień techno. Lata praktyki i dziesiątki zagranych imprez sprawiły że jego muzyczna selekcja stała się bardzo restrykcyjna. Jak sam mówi, interesuje go tylko techno najwyższej próby, pod tym względem nie uznaje kompromisów. Jego recepta na udany set to podróż przez elektroniczne głębiny, przy zachowaniu maksymalnego parkietowego potencjału.

Morsil and techno are a case of overwhelming and unbridled passion. One of 
those types that happen at first glance, without context or explanation. A 
relationship as unlikely as late, since not even her first contacts with music have 
made it predictable. Fan of metal and rock, influenced by friends, and later 
hardcore and drum n' bass, it is through these styles that she has first entered 
the world of electronic music. 
Born in the 90s, in Porto, she is part of a generation that embraced first hand 
the growth of the techno scene in Portugal. As she reached the age to go 
clubbing, clubs like Gare, Industria and Lux increased their offer and turned this 
country into a desirable destination for the best Techno artists in the world. 
Names like Oscar Mulero and Regis are the example for many and Morsil is no 
exception. However, all this would not be enough to make her what she is 
today. The absorption of various styles and musical trends, the generational 
influence are clearly key factors. But the rest comes from her own innate 
abilities: complete control of space and time as soon as she takes her role in 
the booth, unpredictability combined with an intrinsic ability to go beyond 
borders, not imposing limits on her eclecticism, and at the same time always 
keeping her musical line: music with texture, hypnotic obscurity, heavy, hard 
and mechanical movements, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, but always 
with the ability to transport. Playing with light and different atmospheres and 
converging it on a main goal, which is to make the listeners dance. Preferably 
with eyes closed, embracing the darkness of the trip.
