Beautiful, even classical introduction and very cool transition to the synth soundscape.

Your synth voicings are so illustrative of the lyrical narrative so beautifully sung by Ramone.  Her voice has a remarkable combination of clarity, ambience, sensuousness, innocence with a splash of sinister, in short, amazing.

This is one of fifteen vignettes written, translated, and produced by sound artist Raul  (Raðulfr Maganhar, @raoulfr) and voiced by Jennifer Roe (@jenniferroe) from the project, Everything Except Oblivion. "It's not poetry, it's not music," says Mainer, whose "thinkmeters" are cut and crystalized from his daily experiences. Each "slice" paints and processes a memory—the good and the bad, the light and the dark—in a sort of sonic journal. "Each one has their story and characters, but I hope that whoever listens will make it their own," says Mainer, who likens these soundscapes to meditation sessions for mortals. Against a backdrop of mystical music, a narrator points the way to nirvana . . . but with words and sounds that are earthly and human.

Purple twilight

This piece was inspired by a short phrase that caught my attention in  Bach's Organ Sonata No.4, played by the prodigiously talented Icelandic pianist Vikingur Olafsson. As is often the case for me, finding the notes in that short phrase started me on a journey, and after a number of miss steps and U-turns I ended up here.

Der Song handelt vom schleichenden Untergang eines europäischen Landes durch die Politik und die EU, ohne dass die Bewohner es bemerken oder sich dagegen wehren. Der Untergang hat vielfältige Formen, sei es die überteuerte Energie, die zweithöchsten Steuern weltweit, die abwandernde Industrie oder die Überfremdung u.v.m. Zusätzlich leidet das eigentlich christlich geprägte Land unter einer zunehmenden Islamisierung und entwickelt sich immer mehr zu einer Diktatur, obwohl es ehemals eine Demokratie gewesen ist. Der grösste Teil seiner Bewohner verhält sich wie ein Frosch🐸🐸🐸, den man in einen Kochtopf mit Wasser setzt, und dieses langsam erhitzt, er bleibt im Kochtopf, bis er vor Hitze stirbt. Nur ein geringer Teil der Bevölkerung ist erwacht, und sieht die Entwicklungen und die Gefahr kommen, aber auf diese Menschen wird ja nicht gehört, lieber glaubt man der Regierungspropagande. In wenigen Jahren wird das Land untergegangen sein, ohne dass jemand etwas dagegen unternommen hat.
Ihr dürft raten, um welches Land es sich handelt.
