After a quite period I intend to kick things off again with a series of posts to keep the ears warm during the winter period. Starting off with an awesome mix from Kris Dubinsky. The Swede caught my attention a little while ago with some very finely tuned and well crafted mixes full of warmth and ambiance and were really enjoyable to listen to.  He seems to carry this warmth and texture through most of his work including some excellent productions. I recommend you check him out, starting with this nicely tripped out mix.

We couldn’t imagine a better spent afternoon with the deep downtempo and dub-infused vinyl set that he performed. This mix which was recorded exclusively for our series carries very similar mood and reminds us the remarkable time we had there. 
What is for sure worth to follow is his label Alpenglühen. This relatively new project adheres to the downtempo concept and offers slower music, that can be delighted without a rush. Alpenglühen003 by Vand coming soon!

About ALIENNA:
Watching science fiction movies as a child a new fascination for off-worldish sounds was born. Soon after, at age 10 she discovered electronic music from Quazar & The Orb in a local record shop. Also around this period her first keyboard was a fact. In 1996, A.  began to pursue her love for electronic music by buying her first turntables and mixer. After DJ’ing for several years, her first live performance in 2018 was a fact: taking in synthesizers, a drum machine, TB3, a sampler and multiple effect boxes,  she will bring you vast sound carpets, surreal pulsating beats wrapped in electronic phrases. Fairy Cocktail Recipe

1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1/2 oz cherry brandy
fill with 1/2 sweet and sour mix
fill with 1/2 cranberry juice
1 splash grenadine syrup
150 mcg lysergic acid diethylamide

Pour ingredients into a Collins glass filled with ice.
Do not mix the triplet absolutely.
