--ABOUT THE SERIES---

Amongst all the social media orientated posturing and the constant attention seeking, I set up 'The Print' Podcast series as something against the grain. I like to personally ask people to contribute a little something to the people to listen to. 

No deadlines, no promotion agenda. If you send me something, I will listen to it and consider it, especially if you contact me in a more personal way than your standard spam message, they are easy to spot.

Whether it is from some unknown guys, established names or people on the up. The purpose of this series purely for the music, so credit has to go to them for the time they invested.

The mixes will be public and there for everybody to see.  I am strictly against spamming, quality has its own natural way of spreading. Tracklists are a MUST to credit the enormous hardwork of the producers.

'Thot' and 'Canines' definitely have to be two of my most played tracks in the last few months. What an incredible vinyl. Really atmospheric, textured, cultured techno with a definite taste of deep lush melodies. I don't know which side of the vinyl I like work more, I don't even know which side of the sleeve I like best.  Gaspard de La Montagne came about through this incredible release by 'Creaked'.

The mix is a nice blend of upbeat greaves that can definitely put on a sinister edge, a very nice blend of techno, house and detroit all into one. Really nice mix to offset this horrible winter weather.

Another local Amsterdam duo making ground with a warm and textured techno flavour. Their sound is instantly recognizable in how they open up this edition of the podcast. A deep layered mix, with a steady pace and evolving ambient. Something to enjoy in many moments of the day, and a perfect stepping stone into the spring.

Taapion have been one of my favourite labels in the last 18 months or so.The french crew behind Taapion have done some outstanding work on this label and other's like Deep Move. 

In anticipation of PVNV's next release, Odes Of The Kabatians, on Silent Season with another previous guest Amandra, I am really happy to present one of the crew on this podcast.

A well crafted and original mix, with some of the flavour's we have come to expect from the front runners of french techno.

Further into the french Techno scene with this podcast. Up and comers from Paris/Reims "Atomic Moog" are with us this time with a well defined and nicely sculpted mix. Full of nice synth-work, atmosphere and warmth. Just how it should be with that name.

Some excellent tracks on there from some of the best at it right now.

Founder of Deep x Heights event series Berlin and creator of the techno platform Gbgtechno, Alnö or Anna, is an established entrepreneur focusing on connecting music and people together and explore new spheres of sound.
A Stockholm based artist, Zement Berlin resident and member of Violazioni Sonore agency, Alnö is exploring the deep, hypnotic and atmospheric sounds of techno, inspired by the environment and the sound of nature, Alnö is also the name of her place of birth, a Nordic island of strong elements, powerful surroundings and northern melancholy.

I met Thomas not so long ago through the guys at Compound in Amsterdam. Thought Id check out his stuff and I really liked the sound of a few of his studio mixes. Well thought through and represents , to me at least, one of the better sides of techno that people like here in Holland.
