The Beta Lactams are an indie rock band from Scranton Pennsylvania. Yes, THAT Scranton from The Office TV show. Sam Sebastianelli is the songwriter and lead vocalist. Described as a cross between R.E.M. meets Wilco by Electric City Magazine, the band mixes elements of classic rock and with modern sensibilities to form their own unique sound.

I've loved music ever since I can remember. I have played numerous musical instruments since I was a kid, the violin being the instrument I was best at and played to a decent level and attended the Royal College of Music at the age of 10.

I've been making music since the days of Mod music / Tracker music on the legendary Atari ST and the Commodore Amiga. The days when CPU resources were minuscule but you could still whack out a decent tune. It was a great time for music lovers and future music producers, DJ's and artists.

As for my taste in music, I'm a huge fan of R&B, Soul, Funk, LO-FI, Vaporwave, 80s and House but enjoy and appreciate almost all genres, although there are a handful I'm not so keen on!

As for my music, my aspergers/autism insists on quite a bit of melodic repetition as you may or may not notice and also a good mix of genres.

Vocals and backing harmonies are mostly self-recorded (a million takes per line 😆), followed by enhancement using AI voice models to change my voice, compensate for natural imperfections and improve vocal output. In other words, I don't like my own voice but I can hold a tune 😁. Autotune is applied, open source post-processing tools are then used, prior to the mastering stage. Artwork is AI because Photoshop takes too long, sowwy!

Prince Ash is a rapper from Salthill, Galway City in Ireland.

With the help of friend and long time collaborator młody sleep, Prince Ash dropped his debut album The Legend Of Ashitaka (The Curse) on the 24th of April 2021. This was followed by the EP's Lone Wolf and Sounds From The County Hell in July and September 2021. Continuing a busy 2021 Ash subsequently dropped his second studio album SOLACE in December 2021. Ash in 2021 also dropped the singles GALLOWS, DARKNESS, Angel and Bonnie & Clyde.

In 2022 Ash parted ways with his old producer and friend młody sleep in search for a more authentic sound and began work with local Galway producer DJ Green. In 2022 Ash dropped the song all Irish go to heaven. Once again, in 2022 Ash and DJ Green parted ways.

Prince Ash dropped his third studio album 'The Legend Of Ashitaka II (Return Of The Prince)' on his birthday 2nd December 2024. Working with local Galway producer Arm Da Track the album brings a new flavour to Prince Ash’s style with a more lyrical approach with more professional and clean sounding mixes and instrumentals that focus on trappy beats with hard 808’s. 

Prince Ash is currently working on the third instalment of his ‘Legend Of Ashitaka’ series which with be called ‘Redemption’. The album is still in production but there are singles being dropped regularly, Prince has already released a few singles from the album such as ‘Rat Race’ & ‘Stardust’.
