The Rationales are a five-piece band from Boston.  Mixing power-pop with alternative, teeming with hooks and harmonies, and layering their sound with hints of Americana and indie rock, The Rationales have drawn high praise both locally and internationally. After breaking onto the Boston scene with their debut EP The Going and the Gone the released their full length CD, The Distance In Between in 2011 (with the support of their fans via a successful Kickstarter campaign). "Distance" was met with great reviews and airplay. In early 2012 The Rationales release their new single... "Radio". 

Originally hailing from Guilford, Connecticut. The majority of us now reside in Boston, MA. 
We are slowly working on our debut E.P. and playing all around the Boston area.
