Introducing Effdot 

Fletcher Dobson Harper also known as Effdot has been DJing over the past few years throughout Canberra venues and events whilst also being involved in the organisation of Capital Courtyard. We sat down and had a chat with him about how he began as well as the Canberra music community and his plans for the future. He has also put together some groovy house tunes for you all to enjoy this long weekend. Enjoy!

FITT Tek is a Canberra based DJ collective that has just emerged into the Canberra music scene. The four person group consists of Fin (robb), Indy (indy), Tom (thumb) and Tom (bey my pleasure) who have a range of different styles and passions in regards to music and the likes.
 
FITT Tek is eager to progress their DJ’ing and hopefully release some music in the near future.

Introducing Woodruff!

Woodruff is a 19 year old Canberra local DJ, well known as 1/2 of the duo Tekito. No stranger to the Canberra club scene, Woodruff has demonstrated his range of dance music sounds throughout Fiction and One22 for the past 2 years. Influenced by the European deep and minimal house scene, Woodruff is known for selections from the likes of Luuk Van Dijk, DJOKO and Chris Stussy. Pursuing his studies of event management, Marcus kicked off 2020 with the sellout event Capital Courtyard, alongside his two mates Theo and Effdot. Settle in for the next hour as Woodruff has put together some of the best deep house tunes that is bound to get those hips shaking.

Introducing Haylee Karmer!

Haylee Karmer came rising through the Canberra scene late 2019. Her love for the dance floor encouraged her to participate in former Mr. Wolfs aspiring DJ program.
Weeks into this mentorship Haylee found herself playing back to backs sets with Brittany De Marco in the venue and developed her individual style and techniques in front of sold out crowds in the popular hot spot every weekend. Haylee made an instant impact on the stages and crowds she stood before and within a short time landed a spot as a key resident of Mr. Wolf. In late 2020 Haylee has gone on to be a key player at Fiction Nightclub and has taken her level of skills into driving high energy headlines and supports. She has been hand selected to be on the same bill as the likes of Dena Amy, Choomba, Jensen Interceptor, What So Not and Godlands. 
In this mix she revisits her roots with some Mr Wolf staples and also sharing a mix of what she’s been loving personally.

Introducing Brittany De Marco!

Having grown up heavily influenced by the likes of The Prodigy and Daft Punk, Brittany De Marco developed a fascination for a vast variety of electronic music, this fostered her desire to transition to DJing in nightclubs.
Doing so has lead Brittany to dedicate the last half-decade playing every weekend. Starting at former nightclub Mr. Wolf, Brittany became widely known for making her mark as one of the longest-standing residents within the venue.
Bouncing back from restrictions with the anticipated return of Canberra’s nightlife, Brittany can be found at her newly attained residency at Fiction Nightclub where she is known for educating her crowd by mixing a diverse spectrum of something unknown, something familiar and something that leaves you wanting more.
Her reputable tenure in Canberra earned her a spot playing at Groovin The Moo (2019) and Spilt Milk (2018 & 2019).
Brittany’s passion for DJing is pronounced and moves far beyond the scope of simply mixing, with her presence and energy creating an atmosphere anyone can connect.

Introducing El Grey!!!

El Grey is an artist with a love for keeping you on your toes with all things bouncy, percussive and mischievous. Since thoroughly immersing herself in the hedonism of Naarm dancefloors five years ago she’s supported the likes of Extrawelt, FJAAK, and Objekt and forms part of the creative force behind local collective Translate. With an allergy to genre confinement and cheerful middle finger to dance music’s self-serious elements, her sets are sure to be a blast.
