I imagine the future through dancing, through music. It is where I sit happiest, and with hope. In my opinion, our interconnectedness is visible through these two forms of communication. Listening can take us to a place we aren’t a part of yet, help us imagine what we have not yet experienced. As Djs we are often playing with time, and I think that is a powerful thing. I had the future on my mind when bringing these selections together. 


This mix is to also highlight all the talent coming out of the local Moroccan/Amazigh electronic scene, as well as a tribute to my roots. After playing in Marrakech last month, I finally got to connect with a community outside of my family, and one closer to the community I have formed here in the diaspora.
