Next up in our mix series is our very good friend and collaborator from Copenhagen, @mamasnake - co-founder of the notorious Amniote Editions. In this mix they're showing their peerless and sublime palette, full of sleek techno, slithering psychdelia and full blooded grooves. "Hi world,
As you are listening to this, the people in Gaza are listening to the sound of genocide as the terror state of Israel carpet bombs hospitals, mosques, schools, refugee camps and other clear cut civilian targets while the elected leaders of the western world watch in silence.

Let it be known that in November 2023 when this mix came out more than 11.000 Palestinians including more than 4500 children were slaughtered by the fascist Israeli regime in the live streamed attacks on Gaza. At this point in time, it’s been more than a month of full-scale intentional genocide and documented war crimes and the western world has yet to condemn it and take action to push for ceasefire and negotiations to end the cycle of bloodshed due to the decade long violent occupation of Palestine.

To everyone following and listening to this, please speak up, read about and share what is happening, write your government representatives, attend protests, make noise and choose humanity and call for an end to this. Ceasefire is only the beginning; the violent occupation and apartheid must end. Enough is enough.

Termed ‘capsules’, releases refer to the closed-off spaces of wombs carrying amniotes inside of them. At the same time, the label itself is a not-so-restricted venture and establishes a growing global creative network.

Emmie’s technical prowess and feminine touch has been sought after by organisers and audiences. This has landed Emmie on bills with some of the most prominent names in providing underground sounds, including: Higher Intelligence Agency, Helena Hauff, Woody 92, Sleep D, Object Blue, TSVI and Roza Terenzi. Peachlyfe is a hydra-sonic electronic musician thats hook & seduced the Copenhagen fast-paced techno scene, claiming their seat along with the Fast Forward Agency. Peachlyfe’s productions and live sets rebelliously weave across genres, trippy melodies cut with heavy slaps while slithering whispers in your ears owing the dismantlement of the ‘cistem’. Their previous EPs “All Tits are Real, All Money is Fake, All Hail Satan”, “Swamplyfe”, and “Against All Reason” are odes to that anarchic playfulness, a marvellous feat in blending rave-rush joy and queer defiance.Their recent EP “Boī\_(ツ)_/ ̄” serves equal parts juicy techno and epic trance with that Peachlyfe trademark:The shenanigans are continuously brought to yet another level. 

This Chalkboard TT mix is a live recording from Petra’s set when we had the pleasure to host them at “sideways” earlier this year (02.09.2023). It was a treat to be able to show Petra our little city and it has been special to have stayed connected since. Enjoy this 70 minutes of uniformed hard hitting kicks from one of the driving forces in today’s techno scene!

Hey we are Angus and august, and we’re super stoked to be featured on the mix series. If you’re interested in us, we’re just a couple of guys living in a share house and we have decks. 
We’ve been fortunate enough to play at some really sick events, such as badger dens sessions, bush doofs and even our own sideway gig. We’ve opened for some well known DJs like Klon Dump, Willem and Kaysteng, as well as supporting our mates Luca, gollings, and joe negrine. We present to you 60 minutes of our favourite tracks. Isaac (d.hyun), co-owner of Turning Tables, founded the collective during lockdown 2021. Turning Tables had its origin in Soundcloud Radio and showcased Nugunnawal’s (Canberra’s) DJs at house parties. When restrictions eased, floor-bending kitchen sets turned into club nights and parties in the paddock. Isaac has a preposterous love for tunes, with a mania for deep meditative groove. This hour Isaac has curated for Chalkboard displays his devotion to modern jungle, techno-infused drum and bass and IDM. Isaac has showcased the darker side of his collections with tracks that are heavier to digest but full of meaning. A selection that has intertwined dub-infused basslines and soulful percussion with futuristically digital and spacey techno and IDM elements. This mix pays homage to the foundations and the past whilst maintaining a forward-thinking perception towards jungle/DnB. A journey through percussive broken beats, experimental techno-dub, dark breaks and bouncy jungle - meditation.

Hey everyone,

I would like to share with you my project. I’m pitching a subscription program that will take you on a year long journey into my real-time music production. The project will be explored together with my audience as we travel along through the vast and complex outer space of music....
Having the experience of being a label owner and organizing parties, collaborating and being with the crowd, I have always tried to incorporate an awareness of the music industry‘s mechanisms. After more than a decade of working with vinyl (producing, selling, collecting, gifting, swapping, and losing), I want to deviate from the sluggish times of the last years and rethink my approach to music distribution. To achieve this I will use the Bandcamp Subscription Service.....
After signing up, subscribers will receive a track every Thursday throughout the whole year of 2023. You’ll receive 52 tracks for 52€. At the end of each month, non-subscribers will be able to buy the monthly digital EPs for 2€ per track. For those who fear commitment of any kind, single tracks can be purchased for 3€....
Dividing the year into 4 seasons, every quarter‘s content will be presented in a continuous mix made by affiliated artists and friends. The fast rhythm of the output is an integral part oft the framework because it encourages more playfulness, spontaneity, and surprise. I’ll experiment with making versions of tracks by expanding the duration, multiplying, and reconfiguring the order of my material. Appropriated, sampled, and recorded fragments will reappear to disturb the semantics of a conventional album, releasing different meanings after each slightly shifted repetition. Thus interrelations between the output can stretch over a year‘s time, poking at sonic memory and rigid listening behavior. The habitual 30 minutes attention span a vinyl EP requires is given way to explore limitless digital possibilities. Even though I see great value in the compact physical object of a record, such benefits as the distribution process, pricing, and overall autonomy overrule that fetish in this new strategy. I will continue to produce vinyl, but for this project, I´d like to subvert the industry‘s superstructures (which tend to exploit the artists´ share) and strive for my own sales autonomy even more. You will be able to communicate with me on a surface level but also unconsciously via your digital trace. Streaming and purchase behavior, likes, and critiques will be met quicker and more intuitively.....
