I’m truly pleased to present the second guest mix in the series: Vologda Night’s by the talented German F. 

A deeply respected figure in the dub techno scene, German F (aka German Fedoseev) brings with him years of dedication to the underground sound, from his early piano training to organising intimate techno gatherings in Cherepovets. 

His passion for vinyl culture and raw, atmospheric grooves is evident in every set. 

German F’s sound reflects a deep-rooted connection to the textures and soul of dub techno — timeless, immersive, and uncompromising. 

It’s an honor to host an artist whose journey and craft have become a quiet symbol of authenticity in the community. Much respect and gratitude to German F for sharing this beautiful mix with us.

Vologda Night’s

fka boursin is a DJ and producer out of Bristol, UK. 
Previously known as DJ Boursin, he is recognized for his deep, ambient-infused house music that explores political dimensions of clubs and identity politics.

Welcomed into the Scissor & Thread fold, fka boursin shares two cuts of deep and introspective electronic music. 

The original Listless Intertext is a hazy trip through ambient soundscapes, shuffling rhythms and half-caught conversations, drifting across a 12 minute run time that slowly evolves and shifts with time.  

"Listless Intertext is a track centred around the "failed" employment of cheap vocoder software that attempted to process explicit words and phrases across 11 minutes." says fka boursin. "Instead, the vocoder output made any words indecipherable and I was left with thematic vagueness. The final text of the track is simply a submission to its own limitations with some french thrown in."

When label bosses Frank & Tony step up for their Housebeat Dub, they keep the essential mood but introduce a thick, fat groove that works just as well in conveying the mood. 

"Our remix is a strictly dancefloor approach," says Frank, "an extended psychedelic beat rework perfect for late night, early morning vibes".

Biography: 
emesh is the project of Antonio Muñoz where he unleashes his creativity in the music production of different genres: electronic, ambient, slow trance, idm. He comes from the beautiful region of La Alcarria in Spain. Since 2013 on Sendero Records, he has been delivering a quite diverse range of sound to the listener, sometimes danceable, sometimes calming, more metallic, more organic, and always inspiring. Antonio is both, a musician and therapist. His musical influences owe much to the pop and electronics of the 80s when he started working as resident Dj at Deadly club in Brihuega (Guadalajara-Spain) about 9 years.
His talent has been recognized on a global stage, with his track featured at the London Music Conference in 2020 playing a set at fabric@london. This global recognition is a testament to his skill and creativity. Currently, he's immersed in his studio, Elul, recently completing an indie electronic EP with Miss Zagato, and recent releases on [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Blue Lotus and Something Spæcial label. Stay tuned for his latest creations.

Der liebe Andreas hat seine kleine Auszeit in den (leider nicht ganz so sonnigen) belgischen Ardennen nicht nur für Wanderungen (inklusive intensives Pilzesuchen) genutzt, sondern auch, um Energie zu tanken, um nach seiner Rückkehr ins "XtraChill"-Studio mit frischem Elan an dieser 447. Episode seines kleinen Podcast zu arbeiten. Herausgekommen ist eine Playliste mit einem deutlichen Schwerpunkt auf Electronica, vor allem von einem neuen Netlabel aus England - "Mighty Force" stellt sind heute, am 15. Oktober 2025, zum ersten Mal vor mit einem eigenen Dreier-Set. Und neben zwei interessanten Neuvorstellungen ist auch ein guter Bekannter dabei. Our dear Andreas used his little break in the (unfortunately not so sunny) Belgian Ardennes not only for hiking (including intensive mushroom hunting), but also to recharge his batteries so that he could return to the "XtraChill" studio with fresh enthusiasm to work on this 447th episode of his little podcast. Between the Solstice

A Dub Techno Journey is a compilation that traverses Dantes circles of Hell, transforming them into hypnotic and profound soundscapes. Each track represents a canto from Dantes Inferno, interpreted by producers from different parts of the world, united by a shared sensitivity for dub techno vibrations. The idea was conceived by Francesco Tamburrano, who envisioned a musical journey blending literature and sonic exploration, and took shape through the collaboration with the label Superordinate, always attentive to visionary projects with an international scope. The result is a dark and immersive path, where enveloping basslines and deep echoes guide the listener on a sonic pilgrimage through Dantes Inferno.

Biography:
X_FR — the sonic identity of Alexander Kotlov, a sound producer and DJ from Novosibirsk, the beating heart of Siberia. As a co-founder and visionary of the label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], Alexander is a pioneer of a unique musical movement that channels the spirit of his homeland. Born in 1983, he has journeyed from a passionate love for music to crafting an entire universe of sound — one that leaves no listener untouched. As one of the label's key ideologists, he shapes not only the sound but the very philosophy of contemporary dub techno. X_FR is, indeed, the architect of Siberian sound.

Under the moniker Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, in a creative alliance with his brother ENERCUBE, Alexander weaves sonic tapestries where simplicity meets brilliance. Their tracks transport listeners to the soul of Siberian landscapes — rugged, majestic, yet profoundly meditative. The music of X_FR is a true alchemy of sound, where the shadows of basslines intertwine with the tenderness of melodies, and minimalism unfolds into boundless depth. In the work of the two brothers, a rare harmony emerges — the product of a shared vision and familial connection. Their tracks awaken the inner world of the listener, inviting moments of mindfulness and introspection.
