"Once a year, I record a live set at one of my gigs and upload it to our Afterhour Sounds channel. This year I'm super happy to present you my set from Kater Blau, recorded at the Heinz Hopper Floor.
I played most of the songs already at numerous shows during the summer, but I also included two brand new songs, straight outta studio. As I never have played them before, I was a little nervous...

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about the gig?

Jim: "I remember the moment when I went to Kater Blau some years ago. Especially the Heinz Hopper floor got me! The sound, the light and the whole design of the floor is super good and fits perfectly into my imagination of a good floor. It's not too big, neither too small and due to the gallery and some steps it can appear very large when it's packed (and it was!). So for me it was a dream come true to play here. 
The show itself was "like a rausch" - I felt so connected to the moment and the crowd was cheering a lot. But I guess my supportive friends have been cheering the most and I was very lucky to have them with me ;-)

The set includes a lot of unreleased tracks, which will be out very soon. So I'm happy to give a little glimpse of what comes next early 2024."

apanorama is a German electronic music duo consisting of Nora Lösel and Michael Eppelein. Nora and Michael’s music is characterised by atmospheric soundscapes, enchanting vocals and intricate rhythms. Their sound is loop oriented, kind of like a polyphonic mantra developed during a song. Together with the mesmerising visuals it is a captivating live experience where you are immediately drawn to them. Originally from the country of Georgia, Acid Alien’s (Ana’s) musical upbringing starts with classical music, playing the piano and dancing for the Georgian national ballet, followed by decades of classic rock and post punk revival obsession and culminating with the blooming techno scene in Georgia, specifically techno institution such as Tbilisi’s “Bassiani” the sister club of Berlin’s “Berghain”. She also fully immersed herself in the electronic music scene of Scandinavia, where she lived for 8 years. 
Having lived on multiple continents and explored music genres of all kinds, her music is a reflection of this diverse background. Acid Alien has a signature sound which can range from deep progressive, dark disco, indie dance to techno and downtempo electronica, always with a dash of acid.
Acid Alien is the founder and the resident DJ of the event series, “Alien Invites”, the event series focuses on curating underground electronic music DJ lineups, actively taking the gender inequality in the music industry into account. Meanwhile the "Resident Alien" event series features all-night extended sets by Acid Alien.
Currently Acid Alien is focusing on music production, continuously evolving and advancing her sound.
