All Shall Be Well, from Haarlem (the Netherlands), play instrumental, cinematic music. They build on themes, thresh out their melodies and look for unsuspected harmonies. Their music is highly associative; they liken their music to stories rather than songs.

After their debut record ROODBLAUW (2011) and sophomore album BLAUWGEEL (2014), the band’s latest project revolves around interpreting the works of classical composers such as Ludwig von Beethoven and Edvard Grieg and remaking them into new arrangements and compositions fit for a band line-up with guitars, drums and bass. The resulting EP, GEELZWART, was released late 2016.

All Shall Be Well have taken their music across many borders, including Germany, Denmark, Norway, Italy and Belgium. At live performances their image projections visualise their music, adding a deeper layer to their stories.

The band sees transparency as a great virtue; they release all their music through the Creative Commons, making it accessible for all to experience, share and create endless renditions.

Known for his work fronting the enigmatic rock band Pedro the Lion, David Bazan’s emotionally charged narratives, eye for telling detail, and mournful voice have more in common with J.D. Salinger’s “Nine Stories” or Flannery O’Connor’s “Wise Blood” than with the usual lyrical slant of popular music. Bazan is a gifted storyteller, weaving parables of spiritual conflict, suburban ennui, and personal surrender into magnetic, well-crafted songs.

His debut solo full-length album, Curse Your Branches (out now on Barsuk), is a masterwork by a modern American poet at the height of his powers. Paste Magazine called him one of the “100 Best Living Songwriters”. This record is the deepest and most explicit exploration of his struggles with faith and a meditation on all things passed between the generations.

British comedian Adam Buxton talks with interesting people. The rambly conversations are sometimes funny, sometimes more serious with funny bits. Adam records the intros and outros for most episodes while walking with his dog friend Rosie in the East Anglian countryside where he lives with his wife and three children. 

Adam has appeared in films such as ‘Hot Fuzz’, ‘Stardust’ and ‘Son Of Rambow’ as well as a variety of TV shows in the UK. Since 2007 he has hosted ‘BUG’, a live show that combines music videos and comedy that became a TV series on Sky Atlantic in 2012. From time to time he also does live shows featuring just his own material. Along with lifelong friend Joe Cornish he also is one half of award winning TV, radio and podcast duo Adam & Joe who have worked together since 1995.
