My Biography

My name is Sabina years are just a number, and I live in Zagreb. My passion is electronic music and the deep connection I share with people who, like me, can't live without a good beat. My stage name is DJ SabinaSabya

I've been following the electronic music scene since its early days. As parties began to spread across Croatia, my clubbing career took off. With ten years of experience in the club scene, I decided to step behind the DJ booth and bring my love for music to the forefront. In mid-2003, I took my first steps in learning how to play on turntables. I joined DJ Rene's Adriatic tour, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. My early influences were DJs like Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Junior Jack, Carl Cox, and many more. Naturally, I gravitated towards house, tech-house, and progressive sounds.

In 2004 and 2005, I played an active role in organizing parties across Croatia, booking international DJs, and performing at various events in Zagreb and along the Adriatic coast. In 2006, I became a mother, and from then until 2009, I balanced my life between motherhood and DJing. I continued collecting vinyl and crafting sets. In early 2009, I made appearances at parties such as Basecode, Nasipavanje, Mikleuška,  alongside DJs like Deamiom, Lilonee, Beloff, Alan Herceg, Derick May, Rydel, 

In my sets, I don't limit myself to specific genres. I keep up with the full spectrum of electronic music, but I’m most recognized for my tech-house and progressive-house direction. I prioritize high production quality, artistic value, and innovation in my music. Special attention goes to creating a "good story" in my sets, as they must flow seamlessly, especially when incorporating diverse genres.
