"No." says a voice in the distance.
Everything is dark.
You're not sure if you could make out the voice.
"...Why?" You ask.
The voice comes closer.
"You know exactly why."
Now you recognize it. How could you not recognize your own voice?

"Is the war over yet?"

In contradiction to only the darkness you've seen before you, the environment slowly fades into a place you can only recognize as...

"What a surprise. Hotel Shad. The place you spend nearly all your time. What so specifically happened there, you ask. Well, to restate, you know all too well.
Wait. You had a basement? What's down there? A good amount of useless junk and stuff. But one thing in familiar you spotted that fateful day. That's right, a cloning machine. How conveniently eventful! 
So.. what's the first thing you decide to do with it once you find it? The answer: Play with it. See how well that thing really works. You may know what happens next. Blah, blah, cliché production error, you messed up. Ta-da! You've just created a clone of yourself! One that certainly wasn't like you.
But.. the clone's creation is not what sparked today's events.

"Allow me to bring us back to where it all started."

"Why are you telling me all this stuff anyway? Why shouldn't I just walk away right now?"

Everything goes completely dark again. And silent. In the flash of an instant, you finally see him. It's like looking in a mirror. Only the mirror was dirty and possessed by.. something.

"Oh, and why SHOULDN'T I just kill you right here?" he says.
You grow a slight bit nervous.
"..."
"Then so be it."
He backs up, his eyes glowing like a car's headlights in a thunderstorm.
"We'll duke it out. You win, I go away. You lose.. heh.
Let's just say.. I have a few plans."

"What's the point of all this?"

"You're so fucking weak. You alone couldn't even beat me."
He chuckles.
"Now... What I have 'planned,' is something I should've done a LONG time ago."
This worries you, although what happens next only adds on to your worry. You're now trapped in what seems to be a sturdy cage of vines. Grabbing onto the bars of the cage is your next resort, despite that not helping in the slightest. 
"This time, you won't prevail. And with what the future holds for you, the world will truly know the name, 'Bad Shad.'"
Afterwards, you can feel doom overcoming the environment. For what seemed like the first time, anxiety grips you tightly. As far as your eyesight goes, there's no one to free you from this newfound prison.

"Shad's fate is now under MY jurisdiction."
"To make it short and sweet, he has TWO weeks, until my plans of killing him off for good finally take place."
"If his friends and followers really do care about him, they'll vote #SaveShad to save the pathetic thing known as Shad's life."
"Otherwise, voting #KillShad will mean that you agree with me killing him off, and replacing Shad as a whole, which really isn't a bad idea."
"To restate, you all have two weeks; fourteen days, before Shad will be no more, and his legacy will be replaced with me, Bad Shad."

"So, here's the deal."

One week has passed. And I've gotta say, I'm impressed. A lot of you must really care about Shad. Although there are also others who sided with me. And I can't say I blame you. 
All in all, you have one more week left until your precious Shad gets to kick the bucket. Try to convince me otherwise until then. Ciao!

"Well, there goes my narration; Taken over by Bad Shad. I don't know if you can hear this or not, but if you can, please heed my advice. If you're on my side, leave the Bad Shad's Discord server at all costs. It only heightens his ego and proves to him that you support him. And while you guys do that, I'll be busy getting myself a means of getting out of here before my execution."

Wai- huh?! You happened to come to MY domain?

"And there it is now."

"One week."

"W-What the fuck..." the lookalike trails off, surprised at his own near-defeat. "A-All of you are dead to the world! Shad's only gotten lesser and lesser, and so have the days. A week has passed like nothing. What's the point of even trying to save him when I can? I can save him from what you all are doing. This type of annihilation can't go on any further."
"Yeah?! You managed to lessen HIM from the inside! Your definition of saving is just KILLING! Now, what's your point here?" Algid says, seemingly on a rage-filled breakdown.
"To get rid of what the world didn't want. I shall let the present age know who I am. I am who they wanted after all. Bad Shad. You all know that I am a much more superior lifeform by a long shot."
"I'm fucking TIRED of hearing you talk."
After the sentence was deathly concluded, Algid pushed Bad Shad aside. She threw her machete to where your vine cage was. You flinch for the impact, and everything comes tumbling down.
The vine cage weakens and dissipates as you feel the ground again. You look up in wonder. Your body refuses to move by the wonder itself.
All until something grabs you. Or, someone...
"Not so fast," Bad Shad says as he holds the knife against you. "unless if you want your execution to be early."
Now, you REALLY couldn't move.
"I see you're very very persistent with keeping this shit up. Unhand him or meet your fate, red-eyed mistake," Algid says.
The rest of the crew steps forward with Algid. But, there seemed to be more people. Lots, and lots, and lots.
Bad Shad's grip on you seemed to weaken, and you quickly step out of his presence.
"Why are you confronting ME about it? ...Heh. It doesn't matter anymore, doesn't it?" Bad Shad says lowly.
Everything is silent.
Then, you finally work up the courage to speak.
"Bring it on, me. BRING. IT. ON."

"You and WHAT Army?" ~ Confronting the Bad Shad

He mumbles. "H-how.. was I defeated so easily..?"
"Well, I'd say it's because the power of teamwork, but that's more of a Sonic Heroes thing." You reply.
"And besides," Algid cuts in. "You never really had a chance against us anyway."
A moment of silence is had by the gang and Bad Shad. Eventually, Bad Shad breaks the silence.
"Well.. go ahead and do whatever you guys want with me.. But not until I've had my say."
As he was about to start speaking again, he says, "Actually, uh, I forgot what I was going to say."
Darknitus walks over and picks him up. He leans closer to him.
"Get fucking lost." he says to Bad.
Not long after, the sight of Bad flying away filled the skies. Everyone starts yelling their goodbyes.
"Sayonara, you red-eyed toon!!" Yells Sebastian.
"Get gone like Obama!!" Yells Slice.
"Never come back, ever!!" Yells Algid.
"Get the fuck out!!" Yells Papywah.
"Suck a tit!!" Yells Slappy.
Amidst all the triumphant yells, you stay quiet in confidence, carrying the satisfying feeling of victory and closure inside you.
After everything, the gang gathers up and sits, to look at the peaceful sunset at the end of the day.
"So.. I guess it's all over..? Just like that..?" You ask. 
"That's what it seems like." replies Slappy, with a second response from Algid, which was a mere "Yeah."
Darknitus appears curious. "Why?" he asks. "Is something on your mind?"
"Kinda. The thing I'm wondering is.. What was it that Bad was gonna say, but forgot about?"
"And another thing; If it is still in his mind.. does that mean he'll return someday..?"

Bad Shad lays weak at your feet.
