Singer-songwriter Yellowlees was born from Pete Rapp stitching together heart, sleeve and rousing indie-folk spirit. Hailing from the UK’s South Coast by way of Norwich, Yellowlees sits somewhere between the yearning sensitivity of Noah Kahan and early Bon Iver, and the thrilling immediacy of Sam Fender and Hozier.

Now settled in London, Yellowlees has a knack of combining infectious, hooky melodies with honest, conversational wordplay and musical theatre-tinged harmonies. He has established himself as an unmissable live act thanks to magnetic, crowd-pleasing performances known for their passion-fuelled energy – 2022’s anthemic, heartfelt ‘Dispatches’ EP was launched with a triumphant, packed-out London headline show.
