The latest episode of Get Physical Radio comes from Berlin-based artist Dave DK, who steps in with a deep, flowing mix rooted in the early Afro house sound of the label.

Fresh from releasing his laid-back, disco-infused remix of Niconé’s ‘What Do U Want’ on Get Physical, Dave curates a journey that celebrates the organic grooves and hypnotic rhythms that have shaped the label’s more tribal-leaning output.

The mix moves through rich textures and percussive layers with tracks like Bruce Loko’s ‘The Arkenstone Of Thrain’, Thakzin’s ‘Khoisan’ featuring Kitty Amor, and Aero Manyelo’s ‘Mooki’, alongside music from FNX Omar, Enoo Napa, and Fluida. In Bilal’s own words:

this was burn #11 for me. and you'd think you know what to expect by now. but NOPE! this place really knows how to throw a curveball at all of us... but seeing people bounce back and knock that curveball out of the park is more amazing to see. 

i really didnt know what to expect on Man Burn Night, surrounded by all the different art cars and crowds. its basically like standing in the TV section at Best Buy with every channel blaring at once. 

anyway, this mix is the result of the environment at the time. i had fun sharing this music and i hope you do too.
