Drowning in a pool of debt,
I see everything I cannot get!
Busting at the seams,
My wallet’s full of empty dreams —
The rich sleep safe in a super home,
I live my life like a garden gnome!

Job says “junior” but I’m thirty-three,
Still flat sharing with anxiety.
Work all week, can’t fill my tank,
Got more minus signs than a pirate bank.
Dreamt of freedom, got payday loans,
New shoes? Nah — just broken bones.
The system’s rigged, it’s plain to see —
But they still blame laziness on me!

Rent’s a wreck!
Fees on fees till my spine goes CRACK!
