Halcyon Days, memories of good times, warm and carefree, a melancholy view of the present. Lofi piano by Felt Instruments Bardzo, emotive strings by Spitfire Audio, a warm analogue bass line from Moog. The lofi beat pulls us into the groove of this time and lets us feel, deep and peaceful. This is music for the soul, a wide background to read and study, meditative and free.

I'am fascinated with the  possibilities  of  randomization that electronic music provide, but is a commpromise between let it flow and control, the most interesting is the surprise
The first part I assumed the compromise with a Ipad app. In 2nd and 3rd parts of the trilogy the basis is the powerful microfreak sequencer. Transitions autom. noise with effects. I got the broken and saturated guitar sound with 'guitar rig' - native instruments  wuau!! I love it.

Chris Morris is a multifaceted artist known for blending genres and redefining musical boundaries. His latest single, Contagious, releases in November 2024 on Malaspalabras Records, the label of Santana’s Andy Vargas and comedian George Lopez, and promises to introduce his sound to new audiences worldwide.

A singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Chris has captivated listeners with soulful melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. Born in Oceanside, California, he began releasing music in the early 2000s. His 2010 album, Ascension, introduced his unique fusion of soul, pop, reggae, and hip-hop. That same year, his single "Can I Have This Dance" was featured in a video game, leading to international exposure and a 2013 tour in Taiwan.

Releases like Recollection (2017), Changes (2013), and instrumental albums Calibration and August (2022) showcase his genre-blending artistry. A member of San Diego’s reggae band Roots Covenant and performer with Stranger, he has collaborated with icons like Johnny Clarke and Sister Nancy.

In production, he’s created music for brands like Huawei and Coca-Cola. Co-founder of Camatic Media, Chris balances a successful career with family life, co-owning Avant Garde Music Company in Eastlake, California. Influenced by legends like Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai, he continues to break boundaries in music.
