LadyLike, an exciting new Country Music Band, is made up of a talented team of creative musicians and killer vocalists. Founding members Karla Pilgrim and Terri Lynn Eddy, formerly of The Secrets, joined forces with Carole Besvater in January of 2021. Together they have a storied history of live performances, musical arrangements, and professional recording sessions.  

Three time MusicNL award winner and two time East Coast Music Award nominee, Roddickton, Newfondland and Labrador native Karla Pilgrim’s delivery is as authentic as it gets. Pilgrim has spent the last 15 years winning over audiences from coast to coast. From  

performing for troops in The Middle East, May of 2007, to opening multiple sold out shows for country music superstar Tim McGraw in August 2015 at the Mile One Stadium in St. Johns, NL, Pilgrim's experience as a performer knows no boundaries.  

"Powerful, emotional, and incredibly gifted" are words that have been used to describe the vocal capabilities of Terri Lynn Eddy. Hailing from Trinity Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Eddy has been creating a stir on the music scene since her first appearance at the Blarney Stone in June of 1997 at 16 years of age. Accompanied by her parents, Eddy wowed audiences across town, playing the bar scene and anywhere she could find a stage. Quoted as having a "voice that is a mixture of velvet and steel", (Mark Vaughan Jackson, The Telegram) Liz Sullivan from The Newfoundland Herald describes Terri Lynn as "A dynamic singer with a natural born gift; a voice that will linger after the last encore fades." Pilgrim and Eddy’s history of performing together spans over 20 years and thousands of miles.  

From cross country tours, showcasing in the U.S. to playing with The Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, they have experienced it all together.  

Adding to their new sound is NSO’s Assistant Principal Second Violinist Carole Bestvater. Saskatchewan born, she relocated to Newfoundland and Labrador to attend Memorial University in pursuit of a Masters of Music Degree. Passionate about community and education, Carole’s decision to add to Newfoundland and Labrador's rich musical culture led her to create Strong Harbour Strings, a non-profit organization that provides equal access to music education and performance. Bestvater is a sought after music educator, freestyle fiddler and session player.  

Based in St. John's, NL, LadyLike pride themselves on their technical abilities and musical versatility, and are breaking boundaries with their new sound. They recently made their debut with the release of an exciting new single and Provincial Newfoundland and Labrador Tour
