This is a short example of the Risset Rhythm. Similar to a Shepard Tone which gives the illusion of an infinitely ascending or descending  frequency, the Risset Rhythm gives the illusion of an infinitely ascending or descending rhythm (in this case, the latter). 

This exercise was inspired by the track "Fold 4, Wrap 5" by Autechre.

Risset Rhythm in Python and Csound

I've taken a fond liking to how ChucK works as a language. However, one thing it seriously lacked was a good reverb for ambient pieces. Today I implemented the ReverbSC reverb csound as a ChucK after following a ChucK tutorial on how to make UGens.
