This song began with Mark, who fleshed out the entire thing, from the rhythm section, to the organ that you hear in there, to the lyrics and vocals, before he laid it on the rest of us. We all got a chuckle from the tongue in cheek humor of the lyrics, and were excited to work on a song about an anachronistic adventure of a soulful caveman. 
  Ken was first up with his version of the the beat, finding the soul in the rhythm. Josh was next up, of course, using his "normie" bass for the his version of the line. Once the rhythm section was in place, it was JJ's turn to shine, adding his slick, soulful e. piano to the mix. 
  Now that they had a solid foundation on which to play, Stephen and Tez added their guitar magic to the mix. Stephen with the rhythm and the fills, and Tez with the ripping solo at the end. Mark also added the festive VST steel drums that you hear throughout at this point, too. Now that the music was laid down, he perfected his awesome vocals to complete it.
  It was in the can at that point, and just needed Mark to throw a pro sounding mix on it. Then, Stephen mastered it in his always expert way to finish it off.
  Mark wanted to record an old skool classic Soul song (a la Al Green), which he did, all on his own. But then, once he unleashed it onto the EC gang for their interpretation, they ran with it in a whole new, almost tropical direction, and it was decided to release 2 versions of the song, both of which you can find on Mark's page. Stephen does double duty on guitar for both versions. 
  This was a real team effort, even though it's really Mark's baby. The Eclectic Collective has many different methods of creating music. This one was a great exercise in trying to bring about Mark's vision. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

This song is about staying the course at something even in the face of 🔥! As you do it suggests we make art and explain the world to ourselves a little more clearly and colourfully along the way.
I love integrating science in lyrics. I think it's a lovely way to learn things and I guess making possibly boring ideas musical and poetic maybe automatically makes them more interesting and digestible. I think subliminally this can help with belief in truth too un the future. I believe music already gives us that in huge depth but it's still nice to acknowledge a place for my ideas there. I like the idea of having clear modern truth as an alternative to theology when they breakout and start embracing new ideas and and science ..

If you compare the EU reaction to Iranian fundamentalism and their silence on Isreali fundamentalism. They just seed that division and that silent inaction is justifying and enabling this genocide and horribly setting a presedence for other autocratic societies to do or try similar in the future. Obviously Iranian leadership is wrong too and evil but our reaction to Isreal speaks volumes about the double standard and the xenophobic projections our leadership projects onto the planet and into people's heads birthing these false realities we all have to endure and accept.

Personally I don't play the SoundCloud game of equal reciprocation. Every time my life as a Dad allows me to listen to a song... I listen to the whole song as I want to give genuine feedback and also learn as much as I can whilst here. So sorry if I don't listen and like and repost loads of your songs. Id prefer to support people by actually helping with the skills I've developed and give less frequent yet valuable feedback where possible then just playing the game of likes. That said I completely understand and appreciate people that decide to do that, that's you and you are as amazing as I am so no judgement. I just want to be clear with you that you won't get any artificial spreading of your music from here but you'll get my honest opinion based on what I imagine you were aiming for. This has helped me transcend musical taste in a way. I'm always imagining what you wanted as opposed to what I like. This has opened up some serious musical doors for me, embracing music that way instead of pre judging it based on what I've already heard... Lose the taste and expand your horizons is maybe what it is suggesting... I've had mine and I decided for now... Only my fingers and voice will feed my music. AI needs to be made conscientiously for me to embrace it at all. I may look at it for DAW automation in the future as that will free up my fingers to make better songs but I'll wait until politicians do their jobs (we'll be waiting a while no doubt) and clean it up for all of us!
