We are suggestive creatures and learn empathy from each other whether we like it or not so that trickle down effect governs the polarity of our whole beings unless we tune out from it. Leaders are easy to switch off for for me. what was more difficult is the sensationalist videos made by our peers on YT and other platforms. They are all trying to make a buck and just dramitise their content with that as the primary goal... But it has nothing to do with real truth. I think that's harder to transcend then the likes of lying politicians because we see those influencers as our equals more maybe and maybe that they look out for us when that's too regularily not true at all 🫡🔆

The law of attraction. I can't remember what author championed it. But it's very true in a sense I think. We project and absorb either positivity or negativity. The world and average mind set is showing us negativity on steroids at the moments and as far as I can see people are re-projecting that negativity when they are not conscious about absorbing and re-projecting it.

That's why I feel so strongly in positivity especially now. We can actually get that positive wild fire we need from people to spread empathy instead of apathy. We don't all need to understand that, we just need enough of us to be tuned to ourselves enough to not reproject the negative energy we see in front of us even if we are the target.

     Howdy everyone and I hope everyone had a great Labor Day, without laboring of course!😂 This is another of my instrumentals, which actually had lyrics but the vocals were not recorded too well so I made it into an instrumental. It's about having that Las Vegas experience which I'm sure nobody can afford anymore with this economy unless you're a billionaire! I've been to Vegas many times and most times I've lost, hence the title "Lost Wages"! I'm not a gambler, so when I lose a couple of hundred dollars I start sweating profusely!!😂 It's a fast paced song and I played like a boogie-woogie synthesizer on it and a rock guitar. Charlie played a groovy harmonica on it too! I've decided to drop an instrumental and a cover song every month from now on besides my normal songs and videos.      The video was a lot of fun to put together and it's all about Las Vegas, the gambling, the show girls, the drinking, the excesses, pretty decadent stuff! There's is a lot of eye-candy here for the grown-ups to enjoy! It drops tomorrow on YouTube! The original song with lyrics was called "My Neck Of The Woods" so if Charlie and I rerecord the vocals, I'll make a video of it as well. I hope everyone enjoys this song and video and remember, don't gamble unless you can afford to lose a ton of money and are rich because it is an addiction! Last time we went to Las Vegas, back before the pandemic, it was for about a week and all we saw were the shows and never gambled, that was my favorite trip because I didn't lose a dime! On The Stage

My earliest musical memories are of a small home on Williams Street, where my family moved when I was three. After dinner, my father would play hymns on his Conn organ, and I would sing along. That simple, shared ritual was my first introduction to music.

Our time at the organ came to an end a couple of years later when we moved, and my father's schedule became busier with teaching, pastoring, and graduate studies. I soon moved on to singing along to albums of musicals, and eventually, my mother became my first piano teacher. But I'll always remember that it was my father who first gave me a love for music. This piece is in his memory of him.

That's why I am The Beautiful Dark. My name is unlikely to help me become affluent and successful but it lays bare that this world has many dark inhumane ideas and mindsets to transcend and get on top of to move our existence on a path to a greater good for all life. So I'll do that for my children and I won't apologise for not trying to please people with any shallow so called truthful status quo.
