It’s always interesting how self producers choose to mix.  The voices on this a beach boyish.. very cool. And always the poetic  lattice to climb while listening to. You mentioned earlier how different people interpret lyrics individually.. depending on mood.. experience.. you never know f someone is going to “ get it “

Dedicated to my Beautiful Dark Friend Carl. We were discussing old tracks and he said he has a man drawer full of old demos. I found this one the other day.. it was stuck to the bottom of a shoe that was stuffed BEHIND my man drawer...   I did manage to tweak it in garage band..
Now i'm off to buy a sheet of plywood and two tubes of silicone for work tomorrow..

I think that's important and very rewarding if you approach reciprocating your engagement with other artists by leaving your taste aside for the listen. Review the human. Remember they are exactly the same as you, grinding it to make art so I believe that's the most inspiring way to approach this place.

Unless you are an already established artist you will get nowhere on SoudCloud without engagement. It takes a bit of learning to sift through the AI bullshit and sidestep the shitty sales bots but find the humans, listen to their creations and engage... And you are getting the same back. Its that simple. You have the best critics you could possibly ask for... Your fellow musicians! Your peers. Opinions that can really matter.

I have had untold inspiration delving into other styles I would have dismissed and I have absolutely had huge amounts of that abundance of angles absorbed in my own music. It almost makes me want to try all the styles I listen to instead of saying... I hate drum and bass... Give it a shot. Every style has its merit and genius behind that creation.

My own tunes are mainly about existence and I aim for them to be an honest reflection of what I've discovered and what's important to me now..I hope you enjoy them. Its always a blast making them 🔆
