Shut the Door

Following 4 years in operation as an online-community and monthly Threads Radio show, the All Colours crew are evolving into a record label and party. Having kicked things off with a jam-packed launch event at South East London’s Fox & Firkin venue this February, the crew are now prepped to unveil the All Colours Music arm of the project with a 10-track VA release of uk garage, breaks, 140/bassweight and jungle from a stellar lineup of established artists and newcomers alike.

Featuring tracks from the likes of Club Glow’s LMajor, Bristol dubstep stalwart Sepia, DJ Mag Best Breakthrough Producer award-winner Samurai Breaks and Sydney bass-music aficionado Mincy to name a few, this debut VA acts as mission statement for All Colours open-minded music policy and sets the tone for what the collective has in store for the future. Team GB and Aeronema will be donating all of the proceeds from this release (out 7 April on Bandcamp) to charities helping the Ukrainiuan humanitarian efforts.

Between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels to people facing hardship – this is an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children. The charity says that for the first time, need for emergency food is outstripping donations as the cost of living emergency is leading to a drastic increase in the number of people turning to food banks for support. 

With this situation being more urgent than ever, Vief are delighted to announce their 2nd charity compilation will be raising funds for the Trussell Trust. Not only providing incredibly vital, immediate support to people facing hardship, the charity also works tirelessly towards the goal of ending the need for food bank in the UK. 

Spanning genres and tempos, reticulation stands as the label’s most ambitious project to date, and owes its thanks to the immense talent and generosity of the 20 producers involved. 

Under a fresh new alias, snaeb teams up with Vief for the 2nd occasion, this time with a kick drum that will blow your head off and snares set to get anyone and everyone dancing!
